Awakening to Paradise
The Three Disappeared, and Then...
Iroha recalls her vow to lead the team in Yachiyo's stead after the Wings of the Magius took their friends away. She apologizes to Ui for having to focus on rescuing her friends. She and Yachiyo clean up the house so that the others can feel their best when they come back. They then go over what they had learned, before Iroha explains that Madoka hadn't been texting her back recently, which meant that she and her friends were somehow being kept in Mitakihara.Tsuruno, Felicia, and Sana impatiently ask for a task to be given to them. Mifuyu suggests that this is proof that their brainwashing was holding strong. Alina is amazed by how easy it was, while Touka suggests that using Mifuyu's memories to do it made it stronger than usual. Mifuyu points out that with the Uwasa of the Memory Museum gone, there's no reason why the brainwashing won't unravel itself. Touka suggests that they allow their recruits to achieve something to please themselves, allowing the brainwashing to be reinforced. Touka and Alina decide to pick Tsuruno out of the three for a certain experiment. When Mifuyu asks what they plan to do with her, Touka tells her that they can't take their time when "Eve" is about to hatch. Mifuyu asks again what they want Tsuruno to do, and Alina bluntly states that they're going to have her commit mass murder, leaving Mifuyu stunned by what they're saying.
Iroha and Yachiyo add cross marks to a map of Kamihama for each Rumor they've eliminated. Unfortunately, they have found no pattern in where Rumors are placed to help them locate the headquarters of the Wings of the Magius, nor where their friends are being held. Iroha asks if the brainwashing could have gone away as soon as the Uwasa of the Memory Museum was destroyed, but Yachiyo points out that they would have been surrounded by foes without any escape. She suggests checking on Tsuruno's house to run an errand tomorrow, while Iroha asks if she could look at the Kamihama Rumor Files. Iroha has a closer look at some of the Rumors in a certain area, and feels that they were awfully familiar. She falls asleep thinking about it, and Yachiyo has to wake her up to tell her to rest elsewhere.
Rumors Drifting Through my Mind
The next day, Iroha continues to ponder about what she almost remembered when Rena taps her on the head for zoning out. Rena takes her to where they usually have lunch with Momoko. There Iroha talks about what she felt when reading the Rumor Files before Rena tells her not to think about it. When Momoko asks her not to pick on Iroha, Rena says Iroha might go bald from stress before denying being worried. Iroha asks about Kaede, and Rena admits that she was still staying in her room at home. Momoko and Rena then bring up Tsuruno, whom they say has left the school panicking due to her having a perfect attendance there for 12 years before suddenly going missing. Later, Momoko thinks about what to do when a classmate suggests they go to an amusement park that would be opening soon. Momoko says she had never heard of this amusement park, but would bring her friends if it turned out to be true.Tsuruno's Safety
Iroha meets with Yachiyo outside her school and they head over to Banbanzai, thinking about how Tsuruno's father might respond to his daughter going missing. As expected, they find a poster stating that the restaurant was closed and asking about Tsuruno's whereabouts. They even hear elder neighbors gossiping about it. They go inside to find Mr. Yui who is disappointed when they admit that they were also asking about her. He speaks about how much of a failure he must be for Tsuruno to look at him a certain way, which piques Iroha's interest. Tsuruno apparently appeared with Felicia before her father and only said: "I won't be coming back. I found a place where I feel completely safe." But he was even more confused by her cheery smile, which had been replaced by a relaxed, almost sleepy face. He hadn't seen her look that way since last year.As the pair make their way back home, they consider that Tsuruno and Felicia visiting Banbanzai before going back to the Wings of the Magius meant their brainwashing was still stable, so they weren't facing a worst case scenario yet. Just then a White Feather ambushes Iroha and tries to drag her into an alley. Iroha and Yachiyo decide to fight off and interrogate the Feathers, who planned to "use" them like Tsuruno. The Feathers soon retreat while taunting their foes for trying to search for their friends. Nevertheless, Iroha and Yachiyo continue to have hope for their success.
The Plan Iroha Thought Up
Iroha begins to cry thinking about how the White Feather insulted her, before pulling herself together and thinking about the Rumors. She then focuses and tells herself she needs to think about her friends. The next day, Momoko meets with her and Yachiyo to plan out how to find Feathers who would know where their friends are. Iroha suggests sweeping across Kamihama for Uwasa and figuring out how close the Wings of the Magius' base is depending on how quickly they respond. Momoko asks to help, but Yachiyo tells her to comfort Kaede until she settles down.Momoko comes to Kaede's house to ask if she's feeling better, but Kaede says she's too scared to fight Witches and risk becoming one. Momoko assures her that being afraid was why they formed a team to begin with, and that Kaede could never find better friends to help her anywhere else in the school. She hugs Kaede, who assures her that her advice made her feel better.
Rumor-Busting Tour
Iroha and Yachiyo start out in Shinsei Ward and move through Mizuna and Sankyo to destroy Rumors, and are eventually attacked by a Black Feather. They soon overwhelm her and ask her where their friends were, but she claims to know nothing about them.Momoko decides to go and meet up with Iroha and Yachiyo after consoling Kaede, but begins to hear many people talking about the amusement park. Growing concerned about how quickly this rumor was spreading, she decides to ask one of them about it. The girl says she doesn't know where it was being built and says it was her friend who told her about it. But her friend denies this, saying that it was vice versa. Momoko gets suspicious and realizes this could be a new Rumor. She decides to prioritize investigating it before finding Yachiyo.
What Can Be Seen from the Map
Iroha and Yachiyo leave their fight disappointed about not finding the answers they were seeking. To them it seemed that the Feathers who were protecting Rumors were not given the information they desired. They head through Chuo and Minagi Ward, and find more Feathers who were just as clueless about where their friends were being held. Iroha decides to mark down the Rumors they found on their map in addition to the ones destroyed beforehand. They realize that they had never gone east of Chuo Ward due to a territorial agreement that was put in place before Kamihama became flooded with enough Witches to satiate both sides of the city.Momoko asks Mitama if she had heard of a Rumor involving any amusement parks. Mitama says that while she didn't know any Magical Girls who heard of it, she at least heard about it at Sakae Ward. Momoko concludes that the Rumor could have originated further eastward.
Iroha and Yachiyo notice that the distribution of Rumors were mostly empty in a certain region, similar to the eye of a storm. They also notice several Rumors clustered around Satomi Medical Center, the hospital where Ui used to stay. Since it was closer, they decide to go there first.
Momoko meets Rena at Sakae Ward to investigate the Rumor. After talking about a fruit tart she bought to cheer up Kaede, Rena tells Momoko that the people she asked about the amusement park were all around the same age as them. She asks if they could go there to celebrate when Kaede feels better, but Momoko corrects her by explaining they were dealing with a Rumor. She agrees to get her a Mont Blanc for not telling her before hand before getting back to their discussion.
Invasion
Iroha and Yachiyo go to investigate the area around the hospital and begin to sense other Magical Girls. The Feathers show themselves to attack the duo, but they realize that some of the Black Feathers had the same magic signatures as Felicia and Sana. The White Feather stands back, seemingly planning to have the former teammates fight each other when Felicia suddenly turns around to attack her. She yanks off her cloak and yells about how she was always with Iroha and Yachiyo. Sana follows suit and says they're all going home. The White Feather is caught by surprise and frantically asks for her Black Feathers back. Felicia refuses to come back and instead offers to continue fighting, but the White Feather leaves. Felicia and Sana then apologize for leaving Iroha and Yachiyo.Momoko and Rena collect what they know after pretending to do a school survey. Although they learned nothing about the amusement park's location, they knew that it would open at dawn 2 days later.
Sana and Felicia's Escape
The four Magical Girls return to Mikazuki Villa, where Sana and Felicia have hot cocoa. Yachiyo asks how they escaped and where Tsuruno was, and they say that Tsuruno was taken elsewhere. They then explain that before this, Mifuyu decided that the Magius could very easily sacrifice the lives of their recruits especially because they used to be with Yachiyo. She used her illusion magic to reverse their brainwashing. She reminded Felicia that despite the Magius' promise of eradicating Witches, they were still keeping some Witches and deliberately making them stronger by having them consume each other or feeding them Grief Seeds. Mifuyu then tells Sana that Touka saying she could undo Sana's wish was likely a lie, and that she had to focus on the promise she made with Ai to stop the Wings of the Magius. She had explained to them that she tried to heal Tsuruno's brainwashing too, but her reason for working with the Magius wasn't was she thought.She asked Felicia and Sana to pretend they were still brainwashed when Touka and Alina came by. They picked out Tsuruno, saying they would have her murder many people. Mifuyu noted that only two of the Magius were present again, and Touka said that the third Magius needed to rest after shaving her life away. Mifuyu then suggested having Sana and Felicia fight Iroha and Yachiyo, an opportunity Alina found too good to pass up. After the Magius leave, she instructed Felicia and Sana to wait until they are taken to fight their friends. They asked her to come with them, but she insists she'll go back to being their enemy next time.
Iroha assures Sana that what she and Felicia worry about is no different from what any other Magical Girl would worry about, so it wasn't their fault for being brainwashed. The four of them agree to look to the future and focus on rescuing Tsuruno. Momoko then arrives and realizes she missed Sana's and Felicia's explanation of why they were back. Iroha and Yachiyo take the time to explain what they've learned to Momoko. When she asks if Sana and Felicia knew where their base was, they say that they were blindfolded going in and out of it. Next, they show their map with the Rumors marked and agree to check out the area without any Rumors. Momoko then tells them about a potential Rumor involving an amusement park that arrived from the east side of Kamihama. Yachiyo decides to contact a rival Magical Girl who is apparently the boss of the east and has control over the Kosho and Daito Wards.
The Boss of the East
Meanwhile, several Black Feathers are begging a Magical Girl named Kanagi to join them like Tsukasa and stop destroying Rumors. Just as she is about to fight them, she gets a call from Yachiyo and lets her know that it might get hard to hear her. After hearing what Yachiyo had been doing, she agrees to work with her and hangs up. Tsukasa and Tsukuyo appear to warn her about something.Yachiyo ends her call and they agree to go to bed before preparing to collaborate with Kanagi tomorrow. Iroha realizes that the Soul Gems of Felicia and Sana were rather tainted even as they sleep, and asks Momoko for some Grief Seeds to purify them before their Doppels end up wrecking the house.
Cooperating with Izumi Kanagi
The next day, Iroha and Yachiyo meet up with Momoko, who notes that they seem more tired than they should be. They say that they had trouble convincing Sana and Felicia to stay home and rest. They arrive at Kosho Ward where Yachiyo reminds Iroha that the Magical Girl they're meeting with is Kanagi Izumi, who used to duel with her over Chuo Ward at the center of Kamihama. Just then Kanagi arrives and immediately becomes concerned about Iroha, whom she didn't know about.They sit down at a cafe to elaborate on their situation with Kanagi who agrees to help them defeat the Wings of the Magius, who were responsible for recruiting most of the Magical Girls in her area. They ask her to fill their map with the Rumors she knew about, confirming that the blank spot formed a circle. They decide to head for the center of this circle at dusk, which Kanagi says contains an old railway yard. In the mean time they take a tea break, during which Momoko asks Kanagi about her part-time jobs. Kanagi says that she had settled into a job at a maid cafe, which surprises Momoko. Iroha notices something strange about Hokuyo Ward and asks if there were any Rumors in the mountains there. Kanagi says there shouldn't be, so Iroha decides she's imagining things.
They head out to the railway yard, but find no magical traces. Although this suggests that the Wings of the Magius had left the area, Kanagi decides to look around at the new railway yard while the other three to search it anyway.
Izumi Kanagi, Observing
The group find nothing noteworthy when they suddenly sense three Witches. Then the Amane sisters show up, feeling pleased that their trap worked out. Iroha, Yachiyo, and Momoko take down the Witches before attempting to attack the Amane sisters to interrogate them about Tsuruno and the Rumor they were looking for. They use their Flute Blossom Resonance to hold Momoko and Yachiyo at bay, leaving Iroha to take them on. Kanagi arrives, but instead of helping she decides to watch Iroha as Black Feathers join in to fight her. Just when they're about to capture Iroha, Kanagi then jumps in, having decided that her intention to rescue Tsuruno was pure. She scolds Tsukasa for lying to her about Yachiyo trying steal her territory and disarms her and Tsukuyo. With Momoko and Yachiyo free, Kanagi takes on the Amane sisters herself while the others deal with the Black Feathers.Kanagi decides to use her [[Telepathy innate mind-reading magic]] to find out what the Amane sisters know, but they fill their minds with a bunch of extra thoughts to distract her. Kanagi declares that they didn't know anything about the Magius' plans, before joking about how she saw that the sisters once swapped their uniforms. She knocks them cold before leaving. The team retreat back to a restaurant, where Kanagi admits that she did find out what happened to Tsuruno. Not only is she still in a brainwashed state, but the Magius decided to have her protect the Uwasa by being "part of it." She is being held at Ferris Wheel Field in Daito Ward.
Sana and Felicia grow anxious thinking about all that Tsuruno had done for them. Just as Felicia decides to go and look for her alone, Sana gets a call from Yachiyo.
Rena, who was at Kaede's house, suddenly slaps her for not cheering up after she got her the fruit tart. She then goes on a rant about how much of a ShrinkingViolet Kaede was, before yelling that they weren't friends anymore. As soon as she says that last line, Kaede slaps her back before pinching her. Rena pinches her back and they remain that while for a few seconds before she stops, now certain that Kaede having enough strength to pinch her meant she could keep going. Kaede promptly breaks down into tears again, apologizing for hurting her.
Aiming to Destroy Paradise
Iroha and the others make their way to Daito Ward, where she calls Sana to ask how close she is. Sana says that she and Felicia had just left Chuo Ward, and also noticed other people were also heading to Daito Ward. Iroha lets her teammates know this, and they decide to hurry. Felicia and Sana soon catch up with them, and they go over their strategy. If the Rumor was so important, it was likely that the Wings of the Magius would throw everything they have at them. Yachiyo suggests that four of them deal with the Feathers and Magius while the other two focus on the Rumor. Iroha decides that she and Yachiyo would go and save Tsuruno in the Rumor. Felicia realizes she hasn't met Kanagi before, and the latter introduces herself. Just then they all sense another Magical Girl, and decide to strike.The Wings Who Protect Paradise
They begin to look for the Rumor's entrance, and Iroha suggests investigating the Ferris Wheel due to how conspicous it was. Just then many Feathers surround them, intent on blocking them. Kanagi decides to take on most of the Feathers, since she's sure that they're old friends.The Magius Who Protect Paradise
Iroha and Yachiyo begin to sense the Rumor's magic, but then Touka and Alina appear to stop them. They are upset that Sana and Felicia were relieved of their brainwashing, but they decide to give Mifuyu a second chance. Iroha begs Touka not to let Tsuruno do something horrible, but she refuses, insisting that they needed people to have fun before leaving the amusement park by dying so that energy can be harvested from their emotions. Iroha exclaims that what Touka is saying wasn't right, and that she could never make anyone happy. Touka tries to counter by asking if Iroha could do that, but Iroha immediately replies that what mattered more was stopping her. Alina interrupts them by replying that Iroha would never agree with them, and prepares to fight them. Touka is annoyed by this, saying she was trying to stall her by talking.Alina immediately targets Sana and Felicia, and threatens to shave their hair off and burn it so nothing will be left when they rot away. They're freaked out by what she's saying, but nonetheless hold their ground for Tsuruno's sake. Touka attacks Iroha and asks her to go home. Iroha insists that if Touka wished to save all Magical Girls, then she shouldn't be forcing Tsuruno to hurt anyone, nor she should ignore what the Feathers would think if they knew what she was making them do. Touka then claims that the whole universe was important and that sacrificing a few thousand lives would be worth it, asking Iroha if she understands. Iroha gives a BluntNo, causing Touka to attack her again. Momoko rushes in to block the attack, complaining that Touka didn't seem to be running out of magic.
Yachiyo reluctantly prepares to fight Mifuyu, who refuses to move out of her way. As they struggle, Yachiyo notes that Mifuyu's weakening magic wasn't the only reason why she was starting to lose; she seemed unmotivated about fighting her. Mifuyu quietly tells Yachiyo that killing the main Uwasa would kill Tsuruno, so she must first connect to Tsuruno's heart to pull out the lesser Uwasa that is possessing her. She also asks her to bring someone else with her into the the Ferris wheel's car, because this Uwasa is also strengthened by Tsuruno's magic. Yachiyo thanks her for this information, and they charge at each other one last time. Mifuyu falls, and Yachiyo apologizes before calling over Iroha. Touka panics upon realizing where Iroha was going, but Kanagi and Momoko stop her from giving chase. Touka eventually relents, certain that they'll likely end up killing Tsuruno if they defeat the Uwasa the wrong way.
What Was Done in Paradise
Iroha and Yachiyo enter the Rumor and find themselves in an amusement park like they predicted. Iroha asks Yachiyo how she knew where it was, and is startled when Yachiyo tells her what Mifuyu said. They consider that they only have one chance, and suddenly realize the Rumor was beginning to make their minds blank out. Just then, Tsuruno calls out to them. Yachiyo is horrified to find the Uwasa's influence had completely altered the colors of her body and outfit. She welcomes them to "Chelation Land," but is disappointed that they came before opening time. Iroha tries to speak to her, but Tsuruno only suggests that they relax and let their worries go. Iroha and Yachiyo realize that this was the Rumor's power, and suggest that a normal person could lose their will to live by the end of a day. They refuse to listen to her and demand that she come home with them. Tsuruno decides that they're trying to ruin the amusement park and decides to make them behave. As she says this, more Uwasa appear around her.As her friends struggle to maintain their will, Tsuruno decides to show them the menu that she came up with. The other Uwasa bring in food and drinks, but Iroha and Yachiyo realize that among the items was a hotpot with exact replicas of their team's mugs. This only motivates them to free Tsuruno, and they continue to fight her and the Uwasa. They both throw their magic at her, hoping that their attack would be strong enough to force the Uwasa out of her. When the dust settled, they are horrified to find that it only resulted in seriously injuring Tsuruno, who had fallen unconscious.
The Meaning of Paradise
Alina throws Felicia and Sana into Labyrinths over and over, but they're able to fight through them. Momoko and Kanagi begin to realize that Touka's Soul Gem wasn't darkening no matter how much she attacked them. Kanagi deduces that the magic she is using isn't hers, and Touka admits that she's correct, since her innate magic allows her to convert energy from the environment into magic.Yachiyo assures Iroha that they haven't killed Tsuruno, but they shouldn't try to attack her again in the same manner. Yachiyo suggests that unless Mifuyu lied to her, they must have failed to understand Tsuruno's true feelings. Tsuruno slowly gets up, and tells them to stop pushing themselves and leave her alone. As she tells them that she belongs in Chelation Land and not Mikazuki Villa, Yachiyo realizes she was making the same face that she did last year. That first time, they were leaving an actual amusement park to cheer themselves up after Mel died, and Yachiyo assumed that Tsuruno had grown tired. In reality, she had let go of the stress she was keeping after thinking about what happened to Mel. She had been forcing herself to smile up until the Magius brainwashed her, convincing her that she didn't have to worry about anyone or anything.
With this in mind, Iroha and Yachiyo have realized that they've taken Tsuruno's kindness for granted and apologize for relying too much on her. Iroha continues on, promising to help her as much as she helps everyone else. Tsuruno thanks them for this apology but insists that she can't leave. As an Uwasa, she is constantly filled with thoughts about wanting to stay as much as she wants to leave, and summons more Uwasa the more she tries to resist. She thanks them for being fuel for the Magius' efforts, when Felicia and Sana arrive, having heard all that had been said. Yachiyo asks why they weren't holding off Alina, and they tell her that Rena and Kaede joined in to replace them. Felicia begins to rant so much about how she'll stop asking Tsuruno for help, that Sana tries to calm her down. Iroha, Sana, and Yachiyo decide to lend Felicia their magic so she can hit Tsuruno with all their magic.
When Felicia hits Tsuruno with her hammer, they realize that something was seeping out of her body. She suddenly changes back to normal, and the group is overwhelmed by Tsuruno's feelings. She had felt the need to work harder to support everyone when she realized that Mifuyu wouldn't tell her what really happened to Mel, and this feeling only grew as their old team fell apart from each other. As she met her new friends later on, she kept telling herself that she was the Mightiest and had nothing to worry about. As her friends are shown her true feelings, they agree in unison to help each other.
Tsuruno wakes up and apologizes for causing them trouble while commenting on how embarrassing it was for them to see into her mind. She realizes they still need to beat the main Uwasa before dawn, but thankfully freeing her from it was enough to anger it. Tsuruno gets up to stop it but is too exhausted to escape the Uwasa's grasp. They remind her that she could depend on them to help her, and she agrees to ask for help. Felicia catches her as soon as they destroy the Uwasa. Iroha assures Tsuruno that they'll find a better way to deal with turning into Witches than the Magius and support each other. Felicia suggests they stack their hands together to celebrate their reunion, and Iroha declares their group as Team Mikazuki Villa.
The Goal of the Magius
Everyone outside senses the Rumor disappearing, with Alina and Touka feeling disappointed. Touka insists that they don't know if Tsuruno survived, but she calls out, saying she was still ok. Touka grows upset at the sight of Team Mikazuki Villa together, and threatens to atomize Iroha. She complains about how "all" of the Magius would be celebrating together if they had won. Iroha asks if by "all" she meant the third Magius is with them, when an Uwasa appears to talk about the Rumor of Chelation Land, an amusement park which nobody can leave until they are removed from the world. A familiar voice calls out to it, telling it that the Rumor was already gone.Sitting above the Ferris wheel was a Magical Girl sitting next to the Uwasa. They jump down to approach Iroha, and the girl introduces as Nemu Hiiragi, the third Magius and the creator of the Uwasa. She briefly describes Iroha's memories as a paradox before complaining about the many worlds that she had created being destroyed by Iroha and her allies, since making the Uwasa takes some of her lifeforce. Iroha realizes that the reason the Uwasa were so familiar to her was because she was there when Ui and her friends invented them.
Iroha declares that she knew how Nemu thought up the Rumors with Touka and Ui, but this startles the Magius. Nemu insists that the Rumors were her creations alone. Touka asks why the others would listen to someone as insane as Iroha, but they say that that's what friends do. Nemu asks that they change the subject by explaining their motives, and Touka agrees. She explains that since being in Kamihama City meant Kyubey wasn't around and nobody could turn into Witches, they want to share that gift with the rest of the world. The emotions that people produce in response to Witches and Rumors produce energy that was needed to make something called "Embryo Eve" hatch. Once it hatches, all three Magius would be there to spread its miracle to the entire world. From there, humanity would no longer depend on Kyubey, while the Magius can achieve their dreams of learning the universe's secrets and crafting stories and art forever.
Yachiyo admits that this only left her with even more questions, but she asks the one she thinks matters most: why would the Wings of the Magius use humans for their cause? Touka claims that they should use people who matter less than Magical Girls, which doesn't surprise Yachiyo. Iroha decides that no matter how carefully they planned this, she could never accept them sacrificing other people. Touka gives up trying to argue with them and decides to leave, saying they won't play nice anymore. Nemu decides they don't need Rumors anymore, and declares that she will personally destroy the remaining ones.
Before Mifuyu retreats with the other Feathers, she takes her time to speak with Yachiyo, who thanks her helping her free Tsuruno. She asks Mifuyu to come back to Mikazuki Villa, but Mifuyu repeats that she wishes to work for a future without Witches, even if the Magius' methods are "problematic." She also points out that she has a responsibility for the Feathers that she dragged into her predicament, who are counting on her to save them. After Mifuyu leaves, Iroha thanks Rena and Kaede for showing up to reinforce her team. Kanagi then points out that the Magius weren't going to back down from their repeated failures, so they should meet up again to prepare for whatever happens next. Yachiyo agrees to this, so Kanagi leaves, and everyone else decides to return to their side of Kamihama.
Team Mikazuki Villa
After the team return to Mikazuki Villa, Tsuruno, Sana, and Felicia repeat how they know almost nothing about where they were taken, and that they didn't see anything that could be called "Embryo Eve." Yachiyo recalls what they've learned: that the Magius were using Uwasa, Witches, and Magical Girls to feed Embryo Eve, effectively turning the entire city into an "incubator" for it. They decide to begin preparing to fight the Wings of the Magius, certain that their plan required too many sacrifices. Just then, Sana's stomach begins to growl, and Iroha realizes that even if nobody went to bed they should still have breakfast. Tsuruno asks Iroha to let the girls from Mitakihara know that she was fused with an Uwasa, since she had a feeling that that's what happened to Mami, who seems to be 100% fused with her Uwasa.While Felicia and Yachiyo were arguing about miso soup, Sana asks Iroha if they can finally give Yachiyo the sakura blossom coasters that matched their mugs. Iroha later comes back after buying pickled vegetables to find Tsuruno making the same relaxed face again. She panics until the others point out that Tsuruno must be shocked about losing her perfect attendance. She eventually gets Tsuruno to snap out of it, and everyone shows Yachiyo the coasters. She gratefully thanks them for their effort, and decides they should use them right away. As they say cheers, Iroha briefly remembers herself talking about sakura blossoms at the hospital.
Later, Iroha remembered Felicia asking why she would buy coasters shaped like coasters shaped like sakura blossoms, and how she said they reminded her of starting a new school year. She then recalled herself at the hospital talking about how one day she would gather with Ui and her friends at a place called the "Eternal Sakura." Iroha quickly grabs the map with the Rumors marked out, realizing that the reason there were so many Rumors around the hospital was because that's where they were first made. She decides that even if Kanagi told her there shouldn't be any Rumors in the mountains, that would be where the Rumor of the Eternal Sakura would go.
Touka and Nemu discuss their next target to feed to Embryo Eve in a laboratory-like room, a legend whose frequency "crossed dimensions" that is supposed to attack Mitakihara - Walpurgisnacht.
Tropes:
- Bigger on the Inside: The Rumor of Chelation Land produced a massive amusement park fitted inside the car of a Ferris Wheel.
- Brick Joke: This trope comes up when Rena yells at Kaede, in reference to a previous conversation.
- Double Take: Momoko does this when she comes back to find that Felicia and Sana came back to Mikazuki Villa.
- Point-and-Click Map: The method of selecting quests is replaced with this, giving a complete map of Kamihama City.
- Putting the Band Back Together: Iroha and Yachiyo succeed in doing this, with Sana and Felicia being freed from their brainwashing by Mifuyu, and Tsuruno being rescued from being fused with an Uwasa of Chelation Land Mascot.
- Say My Name: Iroha yells out Tsuruno's name when she thinks that she and Yachiyo accidentally killed her the first time they attempt to pull the Uwasa off of Tsuruno. This thankfully wasn't the case.
- The Stinger: The chapter ends with the Magius deciding to feed Walpurgisnacht to Embryo Eve to hatch the latter.
