"Snooty" is the forty-ninth episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. It first aired on May 13, 2005.

Experiments who appeared or were mentioned in this episode:

  • Shoe (X-113)
  • Snooty (X-277): This episode's Monster of the Week; a purple furred bat-like experiment who is design to mine and enrich Snootonium, which has a similar chemical composition to mucus.
  • Phantasmo (X-375): Appears as Macki Macaw on Gantu's TV.
  • Reuben (X-625): Lies to Gantu about Hämsterviel cutting the cable so he could have the TV all to himself.

Tropes featured in this episode include:

  • A Day in the Limelight: This is the only episode where Victoria, the red-headed girl first introduced in "Swapper", actually hangs out with Lilo.
  • An Aesop: Friends are the people you can trust. If someone is exploiting you for their own end, they were never your friend to begin with.
  • Armor-Piercing Response: Of the awesome kind. During the climax, Lilo and Victoria meet again, and the former tries to convince the latter to trust her that Snooty isn't a monster. Victoria sadly argues that she gave Gantu her trust, only for him to use her as bait. Lilo responds that there's one difference between them: "I'm your friend."
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: This episode reveals that Stitch's body is 62.7% mucus, which made him very appealing to Snooty. Stitch is incapacitated as a result.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: Snooty is a literal vampire bat who feeds on mucus.
  • Red Herring: When Snooty seemingly sucks nearly all of Stitch's life blood, the latter acts all disorientated and faints. This would normally be signs of blood loss, and it even convinces Victoria that Snooty really is a destructive vampire. In reality, Snooty didn't take Stitch's blood, he took his phlegm.
  • Unobtanium: Snootonium is stated to be a rare element that, when enriched, is extremely unstable. There's no Snootonium on Earth, but mucus has a similar chemical composition to it, so Snooty goes after Victoria because of her allergies causing her to sneeze often.
