Leo's compass directs the airship to a desolate Italian town where the locals can see ghosts — including one who turns spirits into stone.
Tropes:
- Disability Immunity: Reversed. After Medusa was slain and had become a ghost, she can now petrify the normally-impervious ghosts with her stare, while ordinary living people, like Leo, are unaffected. However, Teodora also turns out to be unaffected by her gaze.
- Humble Hero: Despite being chewed out by Leo for not doing anything while the ship was falling at the start of the episode, only to pretty much singlehandedly save the ship once she sees the problem, Teodora doesn't call any attention to her actions in doing so.
- Lured into a Trap: Aldo turns out to have done this. After Leo and Teodora have their argument and Leo's looking for her, Aldo tells Leo that Teodora went to Medusa's cave to try and defeat Medusa herself. But when Leo catches up with Teodora, she claims that Aldo told her that Leo went up on his own first.
- Rapid-Fire "No!": Teodora does this when her "perfect" plan to defeat Medusa fails, resulting in everyone getting petrified except for her, Leo, and Alibrije.
- The Reveal: The end of the episode reveals that Aldo the Shepherd turns out to be the imposter from New Jersey.
- Weakened by the Light: Fatally so. Anyone petrified by Medusa crumbles into ash under direct sunlight.
