Fin reluctantly takes on the case of a raped co-ed at his son's behest. Despite the rocky first meeting, the two find themselves working together as more and more victims keep popping up.

    • In an earlier scene, Dr Chanoor is first seen publicly yelling at Henry for not properly mopping in the clinic hallway, capping it off with telling him to "take some pride in [his] work".
  • Hostage Situation: Henry Chanoor does this to his dock foreman and tries to do such with Chester Lake before he is ultimately taken down by Fin.

  • Mama Didn't Raise No Criminal: In stark contrast to her husband, Henry's mother denies her son's criminal capability and even states his Freudian Excuse on his behalf.
  • Morality Pet: The only people Henry Chanoor genuinely loves other than himself are his mother and sisters.
  • The Oathbreaker: Henry Chanoor's eldest sister is a lawyer, who attempted obstruction by stopping their father from ratting him out when everyone (including herself) figured out that he's the Serial Rapist.
  • Out of Focus: Eliot and Olivia are barely in the episode.
  • Ship Tease: Chester Lake flirts with Casey, who flirts right back.
  • Take Me Instead: The episode ends with Chester Lake trying to coax Henry Chanoor to release a hostage by playing to his desire for attention, reasoning to him that taking a cop hostage will make him famous. This gives Fin a chance to shoot him and disable him long enough to be taken into custody.
  • Thicker Than Water: Henry's mother and eldest sister attempt to pull this on Dr. Chanoor to stop him from turning Henry in as he is family but to no avail.
  • The Unfavorite: Henry Chanoor to his father.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Henry Chanoor's Freudian Excuse is his father's lack of affection towards him.
