Season 1, Episode 18: War with the Roses
Tropes:
- All-Powerful Bystander: Pan and Deliria make it clear that they're too apathetic to get involved in the war between civilization and nature unless they were personally slighted in some way. At least part of this is enforced by Zeus coming down on conflicts between immortals.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Deliria turns giant when fighting for Krapopolis. Pan soon joins in and the two of them engage in a Behemoth Battle.
- Bears Are Bad News: Bears are shown fighting the citizens of Krapopolis during the war.
- Comedic Sociopathy: Pan and Deliria both joke about the obliteration of civilizations in the past from their fights like a fun little squabble. Both make it clear they don't care enough to get involved in the present war because they can always start a new civilization or forest.
- Continuity Nod: Tyrannis manages to manipulate Deliria into getting involved in the war by threatening to tell Pan about what's going on with Zeus.
- Fourth Wall Psych: The Tag is Schlub appearing in a commercial for his latest bar, where men and animals can drink together. It ends with the patrons of the bar looking confused as to what just happened.
- Godzilla Threshold: Tyrannis' argument against war between the city and the forest is that their sponsor gods — Deliria and Pan, respectively — would get involved and end up destroying everything. But when it becomes clear that neither god is interested in getting involved, war breaks out. And then the two gods get involved anyway.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: After Tyrannis convinces Deliria to defend Krapopolis, Stupendous sarcastically thanks him for sending her on the rampage.
- Sexy Discretion Shot: Just when Hippocampus and Daphne are about to have sex, the camera pans up to above ground where a giant Deliria stomps on an elephant and a man that are fighting each other.
- A Truce While We Gawk: Hippocampus and Daphne's plan to stop the war is to kiss in the middle of the battlefield, as everyone stops to watch, mostly out of disgust.
