A local paper plans to run a story about Strickland Propane illegally dumping old propane tanks into the river, prompting Hank to make Strickland Propane more environmentally sound.

  • Heroic BSoD: Upon seeing that Dale and Buck's carbon offset business is just a get rick quick scheme, Bobby decides that caring is for suckers. Hank, not wanting Bobby to go through the rest of his life thinking that people like Buck always get away with it, tries to tell the concert goers the truth, but no one believes him.

  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The episode's title is a reference to the movie, Earth Girls Are Easy.
  • Superficial Solution: This is Buck's way of getting out of the bad light Strickland Propane is in as he does not want to go green anymore. He joins forces with Dale's new carbon offset business and makes Bobby and Joseph plant a forest for free and call it Strickland Forest. But when that plan goes down the drain thanks to Dale taking all the money and not planting anything, he decides to rent an already made forest and claim it's the forest he planted and host a concert there.
