Chiko launches a kite, while Wally stands under Rosa's window and waits for her to choose a time for a date. Rosa decides to meet him at five o'clock at the pine tree. Wally goes home, sits down in front of the alarm clock, and sits without changing his position for several hours until the alarm clock starts ringing. Wally realizes that his body is completely numb, and he calls Chiko for help. Chiko tries to give him a warming massage, but it doesn't help, and he offers a friend to reschedule the date, but Wally refuses and asks him to come up with something.
Rosa approaches the tree under which Wally is sitting with a bouquet of flowers. Wally greets her and whispers to Chiko to understand him because he can't meet a lady sitting down. It turns out that Chiko tied strings to Wally's limbs and now controls him like a puppet sitting on a tree. Wally hands the bouquet to Rosa, but because of Chiko's actions, he starts banging them on the head. Finally, Chiko manages to get Wally to give a bouquet to Rosa, but a fly flies up to him and he waves his hands, which causes Wally to throw the bouquet away. Rosa notices that he is kind of twitchy and offers to take a walk. Wally declares that he will walk under a tree. Rosa notices his strange gait and asks if he is ill. Wally replies that he feels fine, but suddenly Chiko falls from a branch, causing Wally's arms to rise up. Wally pretends to point at the clouds, but Chiko falls off the branch again, causing Wally to climb up.
Rosa is surprised to see Chiko, and she is looking for Wally when suddenly he comes down to the ground next to her. Rosa notices the strings tied to him and pulls them, throwing Chiko to the ground. After learning what happened, she lets Chiko go and starts controlling Wally herself. Wally notices that he can move again and offers to meet Rosa next time, but she refuses because they have just started.
