Other dub names: Maze Craze (4Kids)

Barry wants to make a hedge fence to protect his garden from the wind, but does not understand where the wind is blowing from. Dokko suggests to plant a hedge in the form of a maze, so that he will not only receive protection from the wind, but an attraction. They plant bush seeds according to a rather intricate maze plan. In the spring, Dokko shows his friends the maze that has grown over the winter. He announces that the first one to reach the center of the maze and wake Barry from hibernation wins. Meanwhile, Barry wakes up. He really wants to go to the toilet, but finds himself hidden behind the bushes of the maze. Attempts to climb over thorny bushes or dig them up do not yield anything, and he does not have a map.

By the evening, Barry's friend still haven't reached him. Olga demands that Dokko lead them to the center of the maze, and he reluctantly agrees. Barry builds a big pyramid from the things he has and tries to get to the toilet, but it falls apart. By the night, KikoRiki continue wandering through the maze. Chiko notices that they are going in circles and Krash wonders if Dokko really knows where they are. Dokko shows him the plan of the maze, but suddenly a strong gust of wind takes it away.

In the morning, Barry builds a catapult out of things and uses it to fly through the maze. The exhausted KikoRiki finally get to Barry's house and rush inside, but the house is empty; there is no food in it, and the well is somewhere in the maze. Suddenly they hear some kind of increasing hum from the engine. Dokko assumes that death is coming for them and everyone hides in the house. When they look out, they see that Pin and Barry have made their way through the maze with the help of a huge mower. Barry rushes to the toilet as fast as he can, and Dokko accuses him of almost killing all of them because of his stupid desire to close his garden from the wind.

Tropes:

  • Continuity Nod: Among the things Barry uses to build a pyramid are glasses in the shape of five-pointed stars.
  • Foreshadowing: Pin is not with the maze group, being the only one who is outside the structure this whole time. Guess who comes to save Dokko and his group thanks to Barry's interference.
  • Hedge Maze: Dokko and Barry create a huge maze around the latter's house, causing trouble for both Barry, who doesn't have a map, and Dokko, who invites his friends to reach Barry's house, but gets all of them stuck inside.
  • Never My Fault: After finally making his way to Barry's house along with the rest of his friends, Dokko has the gall to blame him for setting up the titular labyrinth, despite himself suggesting it in the first place.
  • Potty Emergency: Barry spends most of his screen time trying to get to the toilet, complete with Potty Dancing.
  • Shout-Out: The way Dokko leads his friends through the maze largely repeats the episode with the Hampton Court Maze from the book Three Men in a Boat.
