You got better stuff to do tonight than mess around with that—wait, why are you laughing maniacally?!?

Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger!
Zocks followed in Kaito's footsteps by getting a Zenkaiju Gear and turned into Super Twokaizer, who was just two powerful!
Should be interesting to see what he does with it!

Everyone's fighting their own twin!? Copy Wald goes on a rampage making evil copies of civilians. Just as the Zenkaigers and Twokaizer were fighting him, he makes evil copies of Kaito and Zocks, going on their own crime spree and tarnishing the Zenkaigers' reputation! Kaito and Zocks have to work together to stop their evil twins before getting framed and arrested for their crimes.

Tropes

  • Ascended Fridge Horror: The beginning of the episode deals with a common implication in both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider by showing just how much damage the main characters' weapons are truly capable of, even untransformed. To wit, without transforming, the fake Kaito and Zocks completely ruin dozens if not hundreds of buildings using only the gunshots from their changers once they decide mugging civilians isn't enough.
  • The Cameo: Masashi Takeda, Zenkaiger's suit actor, makes an appearance as the officer that arrested Kaito.
  • Clear Their Name: Subverted when Kaito's innocence is proven as his copy continues a string of crimes, but he's still detained at the police station to keep him safe from his copy's rampage. Not that any of this prevents Zocks from breaking him out anyway.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: ZenkaijuOh's debut fight is this up to eleven. From the massive barrage of bullets it lays on the evil building to the marvelous combination Finishing Move Super Zenkaizer and Twokaizer deliver, Great Copy Wald never stood a chance.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Zocks decides to break Kaito out by blowing up a police station. And this was after he kicked down a door to announce he's getting Kaito out.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Zocks proves he's a little too similar to his copy for comfort by blowing up a police station to extract Kaito so they can hunt down their imposters.
  • In the Name of the Moon: Both Copy Kaito and Copy Zocks get in on this, butting in on the Zenkaiger's roll call. Juran is forced to restart after Copy Kaito interrupts him, and Copy Zocks follows the real Zocks.
Copy Kaito: The Secret Copy!note  Zenkaizer!
Copy Zocks: The Pirate Copy!note  Twokaizer!
  • Mundane Solution: Zenkai Magine decides to cause Copy Wald's printer a toner error to prevent him from copying the team.
  • Mythology Gag: The painting stolen by Copy Kaito and Copy Zocks posing as phantom thieves is one of Hoshi Minato. They even send out a calling card done in the style of the Lupinrangers. And if you pay close attention, their leotards are extremely similar to the ones Tooma and Sakuya wore in Number 27.
  • Never Trust a Trailer: In the preview, it implied that the ZenkaijuOh mecha was uncontrollable as we saw it destroying many buildings and attacking both ZenkaiOh mechas in its rampage. In the episode proper, it turns out the said buildings and mechas are nothing more than evil living copies that Great Copy Wald made.
  • Police Are Useless: Subverted surprisingly. While it looks like the police are mistaking Kaito for his copy, they are actually fully aware of the fact that their supposed crimes were done by their imposters, with the police officer explaining it wasn't hard to deduce since there are a bunch of other imposters running around. They were only arresting him in order to keep him safe from the chaos of everything. Not that it stops Zocks of course.
  • Shout-Out: Copy Kaito and Copy Zocks's string of crimes include becoming phantom thieves, to the point of cosplaying the protagonist thieves from Lupin III and Cat's Eye.
  • Skewed Priorities: While Cutanner and Ricky are looking at the absolute carnage caused by Kaito and Zocks's copies, their only concern is how delicious the chicken they're eating in a restaurant they shot up must be.
