After Vroon revealed that he heard of the Goshikidas visiting the Tozitend base, Kaito can't help but wonder about where his parents really are. Unfortunately, this leads to him and Juran being trapped in a sushi roll by none other than Sushi Wald! Gaon thinks of a plan to try and destroy Sushi Wald, but Barashitara decides to join in on the fight.
Tropes
- Born Lucky: Sentai Gear #41 (Uchu Sentai Kyuranger) grants its user with Lucky's extreme luck. Kaito uses it to get him and Juran from the park to where the others are, with some hilarious results:
- First, a fire hydrant just so happens to crack, blasting Sushi Wald's wasabi off of them and sends them rolling towards a truck.
- After traveling on the truck, the two then fall into a table where balloons manage to miraculously connect onto the bench that they're on.
- Flying by balloon, Kaito spots where the others are. A cartoon bird somehow shows up and pops all of the balloons, landing the two straight-on to Sushi Wald.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Yatsude suddenly cuts in to explain what a geta is (a wooden plate with legs used to serve sushi, named after the traditional Japanese shoe it resembles) when Sushi Wald forces Juran and Kaito off of him saying he's not a geta.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Ijirude coming up with a new technology for his Tojiru Gears, and having the perfect test subject in mind for it.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The mecha battle between Sushi Wald and the Zenkaigers firmly gives the latter the win, with the former barely getting a scratch on them before they finish him off.
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Downplayed due to the seaweed restraint. Juran gives Kaito a pep-talk when they're wrapped up in Sushi Wald's roll, telling him that he can't get so wrapped up in finding his parents alone when he has a team right beside him.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Kaito has this realization when he sees the various citizens trapped in Sushi Wald's wasabi and rice, blaming his impulsiveness over his parents for making him lose sight of the mission.
- Mythology Gag: Kaito uses Lucky's catchphrase ("Yossha lucky!") when he's using Sentai Gear #41 and when they make it in time to stop Sushi Wald.
- Once More, with Clarity: Vroon clarifies that it was merely a rumor that Isao and Mitsuko were possibly at Ijirude's lab, tempering Yatsude and Kaito's hopes of ever finding them.
- Simple, yet Awesome: Sentai Gear #43 (Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger) simply grants the Ryusoul Ken, but it more than makes up for it with its extreme power output, easily destroying Sushi Wald's defenses and rescuing the Kikanoid Zenkaigers from the Wald's trap.
- Transformation Is a Free Action: Hilariously averted when Sushi Wald (as a Great Wald) decides to make the Kikanoid Zenkaigers into sushi before they actually grow.
