When super-villain Fantos the Amassor discovers Kid has a Stone of Power, he cooks up a not-so-cunning scheme to add it to his collection.
Tropes:
- Admiring the Abomination: We see first hand at what Erodius the Planet Killer looks like and what it does. Fantos the Amassor is in awe of the Planet Killer's destruction.
- Bittersweet Ending: Kid is rescued and the Local Heroes got their respective stones back. Well... almost all of them. Kid loses his Telekinesis Stone and now has a "Goo Stone" in its place. They also swipe a "Multi-Arm Stone" on their way out. Queen Xhan sees potential in Jo's leadership and begins to train her for the fight against Erodius.
- Hostage For Macguffin: After Fantos captures Kid, he contacts Jo to give him the remaining stones of power for Kid's safety.
- Invisibility: A stone in Fantos' collection grants this ability.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Fantos obtaining the five original stones, and the new ones we see him with, is entirely offscreen.
- Rubber Man: A stone Jo managed to snag off of Fantos grants the ability to stretch.
- Spanner in the Works: We learn that if the Great Leader's armada hadn't pursued the delivery alien carrying five of the Cosmic Stones of Power, Fantos would have them instead of Kid's group.
- Time Skip: Some time has passed since Queen Xhan teleported Flo's diner to outer space. It has since become the talk of the galaxy, and aliens all over stop by to visit.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit: After being captured, Kid allows Fantos to call on Jo and the others to rescue him, hoping to convince the new leader to take action in the fight against Erodius. While it works in the long run, Kid loses his Telekinesis Stone and must now make due with a Goo Stone.
