Summary
Tassel: (in a phone call) ...Yes, most definitely! But then there's this, and then there's that, so— (notices the audience) —Ah!
Bonne lecture, my friends! My name is Tassel.
I'm currently extremely surprised!
The traitorous Calibur's true identity was not Kento's father, but rather, it was the previous Swordsman of Fire.
The wheels of Fate are spinning out of control...! (slams phone on the rack)
...Whoops, I hung up.

Kamen Rider Calibur is revealed to be Daichi Kamijo, the previous Swordsman of Fire. Angered by this revelation, Kentaro goes on the attack, ignoring Rintaro and Touma's attempts to calm him down. The matter complicates when the Megid causes multiple sections of the city to vanish...
Episode Tropes:
- An Aesop: Suffering is not a competition. Kento's dismissal of the hardships of the other swordsmen as not comparing to his own leads to a chain of disastrous events set off by his irrational behavior.
- Divided We Fall: The Guild's integrity was significantly damaged by Kento going off with Rintaro after him and the others having no plan or idea what the hell is going on.
- Revenge Before Reason: This episode marks the descent of Kento's fixation with the current Calibur into outright obsession, causing him to neglect the concerns of others around him, make rash misunderstandings, participate in fights he knows he is unable to win, and above all do all of this at the expense of Rintaro.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Kento goes completely nuts after the events of previous episode with nothing but an Attack! Attack! Attack! attitude towards Calibur.
- Rudely Hanging Up: Tassel accidentally hanging up on whoever he was talking to is not particularly rude, but he did so by slamming the phone down on the rack.
- Taking the Bullet: Before Calibur can finish Espada off, Blades jumps in and takes the blow.
- Wham Line: Tassel greeting someone at his house's door. It establishes that he really is present in the story and not just a tool of the show itself.
- You Can't Thwart Stage One: Megid's plan is set into motion with the swordsmen playing right into it.
Tassel: Jaou Dragon... a Book of otherworldly power.
Sophia has vanished and Rintaro has fallen.
What will happen now—
(doorbell rings)
Oh my, it seems they have arrived at last! (gets up) Coming~!
