With Vail now cornered by Ultimate Revi, Masumi appears. Though the place is disturbed and Vail escapes, Masumi presents a new belt and Vistamp. “Let’s settle this, Vail.”

George then completes a new belt and Vistamp for Genta. Genta prepares to say goodbye to his family and confronts Vail, not only to resolve the conflicts from his past, but also to help get Daiji back from the path he has lost himself in.

Tropes

  • Bait-and-Switch: Once again, just as with Tamaki and the Buffalo Vistamp, we are led to believe that Masumi will transform, only for Vail to snatch the Tricera Vistamp and stamp it on himself.
  • Batman Gambit: Masumi and Genta execute one perfectly, with the former using himself as bait to give the Crimson Vistamp to Vail, which turns out to be the key to Genta finally regaining control of his inner demon.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Genta manages to defeat and seal Vail for good, but Masumi collapses shortly after.
  • Call-Back: Genta and Yukimi having a dinner of curry and gyoza together, just like in Revice Legacy Part 2.
  • Cliffhanger: Just as Ikki and his family seemingly convince Daiji to rejoin them, they are interrupted by a laser blast, which heralds Giff's arrival on the scene.
  • Cross Counter: A variant where both sides perform a kick, but the duel between Destream and Crimson Vail ends with both of them clashing their finishers together.
  • Diabolus ex Machina: Just as Daiji seems set on rejoining his family, Giff attacks the Igarashis leading to a Cliffhanger.
  • Discard and Draw: Genta gets the Destream Driver to use against Vail, allowing him to become Kamen Rider Destream.
  • Distant Sequel: This episode effectively serves as the Grand Finale for Revice Legacy, giving closure to Masumi's, Yukimi's, Genta's, and Vail's character arcs from the miniseries through one final battle between the latter two.
  • Exact Words: Masumi tells Vail that the Crimson Vistamp is his way of atoning for bringing the demon into the world, offering it as a chance for one last fight with Genta. He omits the part where the Vistamp was designed to seal Vail back into Genta once and for all.
  • The Last Dance:
    • Knowing his time is short, Vail decides to settle things with Genta once and for all, with the help of the Crimson Vistamp Masumi gave him.
    • Masumi, also pushing well past his limits, gives Vail the Crimson Vistamp in a final attempt to atone for his past sins.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Genta and Vail's duel is intercut with shots of the two fighting untransformed within the burning wreckage of Happy Spa. Once Genta manages to recontract with Vail and make peace with him, the flames slowly subside and daylight breaks through the ceiling.
  • Sad Battle Music: Genta and Vail's duel is set to "MY DREAM", the ending theme of Revice Legacy.
  • Say My Name: A raw and pretty epic one between Genta and Vail:
    "JUNPEEEEEEEI!!!"
    "VAAAAAAAAIL!!!"
  • Sealed Inside a Person-Shaped Can: The true purpose of Vail's Crimson Vistamp is revealed to be this, with Genta using it to reseal an almost dead Vail back into his body so that both sides would not have to die simultaneously due to their synchronization.
  • So Proud of You: Masumi gives George a proud thumbs-up to acknowledge his development of the Destream Driver, which proved to be the Superior Successor of the Vail Driver.
  • Superior Successor:
    • The Destream Driver is one to the Vail and Demon Drivers, allowing its user to tap into the power of Genomixes without any side effects on top of being inherently more powerful than either of its prototype systems.
    • The Crimson Vistamp turns out to be this as well, as it not only powers up Vail, already a formidable combatant, but is better able to seal away a demon unlike its predecessor in the Rolling Vistamp.
  • Title-Only Opening: An odd example in this case, as the opening theme actually plays during the Previously on… and Cold Open rather than in a proper intro sequence.
  • You See, I'm Dying: Masumi reveals to Vail that — like him — his body is fast approaching its limit.
