Beroba: We now return to the third round of the JGP: the Bullfighting game!
With Tycoon already defeated, Team Jyamato only needs one more victory to win the round and eliminate all Riders from the game.
I hope you all enjoyed the bonus scoop on Na-Go, too~

The final round of the bullfighting game has arrived, but the truth about her origins has left Neon in no condition to fight, especially once she has no one to turn to.

Ace tries to get her Supporter, Kyuun, to take action, but that's when Neon is taken to fight ahead of schedule. Can Ace and Kyuun reignite her spirit before it's too late for Keiwa and the world?

Tropes

  • An Aesop: Supporting someone through their lowest moments is just as important as supporting them during their best, as Kyuun comes to learn.
  • Armor-Piercing Response: Ace accusing Michinaga of being like Beroba.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Before Neon could be killed, Kyuun intervenes and traps the Dunkleosteus Jyamato long enough to give her his speech.
  • Birds of a Feather: Kyuun finally is able to find the right words to say to Neon after learning that her existence is fabricated, just like Kyuun himself as a future being.
  • Bittersweet Ending: On one hand, Neon comes to terms with her origins and Kyuun finally learns to vocalize his feelings to her. On the other hand, there is no coming back from what Beroba revealed: Neon has left the Kurama household for what appears to be the last time, and it's clear that she no longer considers Irumi or Kousei to be her parents.
  • Broken Masquerade: Neon decides to use her ID Core on her mom for her to realize the truth. When she does so, Irumi has a breakdown, having a moment where she no longer recognizes Neon.
  • Continuity Nod: The game ends in a draw since Kyuun helped in the final fight, calling back to the rule that stated no Supporter can interfere with the game.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Kousei states that despite his treatment of Neon she was never supposed to learn the truth about Akari and was planning to bring that knowledge to the grave with him. He knew her learning the truth would bring massive repercussions, and wanted her to live as a normal girl unaware of everything.
  • Fair-Play Villain: Daichi is willing to call the round a tie for the Supporter interference, even giving Keiwa the keys.
  • Foreshadowing:
    • Tsumuri asks Chirami if he knew about Neon's origins, to which he replies that he does. This foreshadows the later reveal that the Vision Driver records what its users perceive, which was how Beroba learned it and allows Michinaga to learn the truth about Mitsume while also layering it as Geats's weakness.
    • At the end of the episode, Archimedel attempts deperately in vain to recover the Dunkleosteus Jyamato, which lost An Arm and a Leg, by watering it with copious amounts of water, only to hit an "Eureka!" Moment and devises a new plan to recover the Jyamato.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Beroba demoralizing Neon for an easy win leads to Kyuun and Ace taking action. Once Kyuun intervenes and assists Neon in the match, Ace stays back to hold off any Jyamato that tries to drag Kyuun out. As a result, the game ends in a draw instead of a victory for the Jyamato.
  • Heroic BSoD: To say Neon is not taking the truth well is an understatement. Beroba was counting on this when she revealed that truth, thinking that this will ensure the Jyamato's victory.
  • Heroic Second Wind: With Kyuun's encouragement and help, Neon equips the Boost Buckle and lays waste to the Dunkleosteus Jyamato.
  • Hypocrite: Beroba used the Dunkleosteus Jyamato for an uneven fight against both Keiwa and Ace, but the moment Kyuun provides Neon with backup and makes the fight a 2v1 on her, she tries to disqualify him.
  • Internal Reveal: Neon reveals the truth to Irumi regarding her origins. The latter doesn't take it well.
  • Jousting Lance: Neon turns Kyuun's Laser Raise Riser into one which allows her to defeat the Dunkleosteus Jyamato with a charging attack.
  • Meaningful Echo: Neon repeats the words Kyuun said to her in his first letter to him after he rescues her.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Despite Irumi's initial outburst when Neon reveals the truth to point of denying she even knows who Neon is, when Neon leaves the house for good this time (since she no longer believes herself to be their daughter) Irumi desperately tries to stop her, even calling her by name again suggesting that after the initial shock wore off Irumi regretted saying all that, or at least still is a decent enough person to not want Neon thrown out on the streets daughter or not.
  • "Not So Different" Remark:
    • Kyuun tells Neon in his Rousing Speech that as a future being, he is also an Artificial Human like her, and as such completely sympathizes with her Existential Horror.
    • Ace calls Michinaga out for supporting the misery the JGP is causing to Neon, making him no different from Beroba for wanting Kamen Riders to suffer. Michinaga denies this, instead blaming the DGP's existence for getting everyone involved in such conflicts to begin with.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Neon defeats the Dunkleosteus Jyamato with Kyuun's help, but the damage dealt to both sides means that the round is declared a draw, and the big reveal regarding her identity makes Neon refuse to go home, stating that she doesn't have one.
  • The Reveal:
    • Kousei didn't wish to revive Akari because he couldn't bear to see her alive again after her death, which is why Neon was created instead.
    • Michinaga reveals his true goal is destroy the DGP once and for all since it causes so much misery, explaining his meaning behind "destroy all Riders".
    • The Vision Driver can access all the memories of the Game Masters that used it.
    • Suel, the true leader of the DGP staff and the series' boss villain, is revealed, and it turns out he was the one who turned Mitsume into the Goddess of Creation, due to her own inherent ability to "create miracles".
  • Rousing Speech: Kyuun gives one to Neon, telling her she defines how she gets to be happy.
  • Rule of Symbolism: After Neon receives her speech, she sees a vision of Akari and hugs her, symbolizing her making peace with her origins.
  • Start of Darkness: Kousei says his heart died when Akari did, explaining his obsession with his corporation and neglect of his daughter Neon.
  • Stating the Simple Solution: Kousei tells Kyuun to marry Neon if he really cared that much about her, which would suit Kousei's purpose of advancing the Kurama Foundation by having her marry a person from the future.
  • That Thing Is Not My Child!: This is Irumi's initial reaction upon finding out the truth, yelling at Neon that she's an imposter and that Akari is her only daughter which causes Neon to break down and leave the house for good. A few minutes later Irumi has since calmed down and had time to get over the shock and tries to apologize and get Neon to stay, but the damage is done.
  • Wham Shot: This episode introduces us the Big Bad, Suel, with him turning Mitsume into the Goddess of Creation.
