Kamen Rider 4 is born! The Kamen Riders realized that Shocker's History Modifying Machine is not quite as destroyed as previously thought, but Shocker's newest Rider cyborg that flies under Shocker's flag confronts them, bringing with him legions of war planes. With other Kamen Riders under the hellish army's flag, the Riders will be in for the fight of their lives.
- Chekhov's Gun: The Shift Brace can monitor Shinnosuke's vital signs, meaning that Shinnosuke dying in one time loop is somehow on record.
- "Groundhog Day" Loop
- Heroic Sacrifice: Shinnosuke anticipating Gou's death and Taking the Bullet... which later proves to be a Thanatos Gambit.
- The Reveal:
- One of our heroes has been deliberately willing the Shocker time reversal generator into activating, just to undo what happened on April 4 2015. And it doesn't matter if either Shinnosuke or Gou dies, because it was caused by Kiriko, from the movie's events till now.
- Also, Shocker is somehow still moving forward in the normal sequence, as they are able to add one more kaijin to their ranks each time.
- Story-Breaker Power:
- It tales until this week for Zeronos to use his time-travelling train to physically search for the source of the problem.
- And then cruelly subverted as Faiz Accel just isn't fast enough.
