After some dark times, things are finally going well for the SCU! Not only they solved the conspiracy behind Eisuke Tomari's death, but they're finally recognized as a major crime unit! They still have to stay at the Driving School, though...
But there's still the matter of the Roidmudes, and recently there was a bizarre string of incidents caused by them. In several past weeks, the androids go berserk for no apparent reason, soon becoming engulfed in flames. A leaflet found at the newest crime scene indicates that the Roidmudes went to a legendary French restaurant Supreme, where only a select few had the chance to feast.
While Shinnosuke and his friends focus on the mystery, the Roidmudes are beginning to gather from all over the world as Heart decides it's time to set their plans in motion...
- Alas, Poor Villain: Drive realises to his horror that the Roidmudes who'd gone berserk before combusting were actually the victims of a twisted experiment. Worse, they were basically poisoned without their knowledge.
- Badass in a Nice Suit: 006 appears in a dashing white suit, and manages to throw Chase and Mach around without even transforming.
- Bad Boss: Medic immediately infects 041 with the chemical that made the other Roidmudes spontaneously combust, claiming it's an honour for them to be used as test subjects. She then orders 090, the Cook Roidmude, to kill 041 along with Drive. Heart is furious to learn this.
- Benevolent Boss: Heart saves 041 as soon as he arrives. He's also enraged at Medic's casual killing of several of their comrades.
- Blood Knight: Judging by his howls of laughter during the fight against Mach and Chase, 006 seems to be one of these.
- Bodyguarding a Badass: 036 and 062 act as 006's bodyguards, but it's clear that despite their power and skill (they have Chase and Mach on the defensive throughout their fight) 006 is easily more powerful than them.
- Butt-Monkey: Brain is still in his Viral Core form following his defeat in the previous episode. Medic is in no hurry to give him a new body.
- Callback: There are flashbacks to several Roidmudes Medic mistreated or directly killed, including 072 (who'd copied Kyu) and the Reapers she'd used as bulletproof shields.
- Continuity Nod: Rinna introduces the Roidmude Hit List, which contains all of the Roidmudes destroyed up to this point. Most noteworthy however, is the inclusions of Roidmudes 027, the Roidmude behind the False Drive/Televi-Kun counterfeit scam incidents, and 089, the villain of the Drive/Ninninger crossover.
- Dance Battler: 006 fights like this during his attempted ambush of Mach and Chase. Extra props for doing while in human form and dressed in a nice suit.
- Fastball Special: 062 and 036 pull this off during the fight with Mach and Chase (036 throws 062 at Chase while 006 is battling Mach).
- Food Porn: The SCU gets some free samples of the Supreme's menu. They look downright mouthwatering, and taste even better.
- Foreshadowing: Banno notes that the heroes have yet to bear witness to Mr. Belt's darker side.
- Healing Hands: Heart saves 041 from combusting with a simple touch.
- I Knew It!: As an in-universe example, Heart's reaction to Medic's attempted sacrifice of 041. It turns out he has had his suspicions on Medic's treatment of their fellow Roidmudes for some time, but now sees it with his own eyes.
- Killed Offscreen: Roidmudes 086, 025 and 031 met their end before the episode starts due to Medic's experiments and Drive having to take them out.
- Love Bubbles: The SCU gets hit by this once they have a taste of Supreme's food.
- The Mafia: 006's appearance and demeanour call to mind a mafia boss, complete with bodyguards 036 and 062.
- Pragmatic Villainy: Despite only just returning to Japan, 006 immediately goes after Gou in order to recover Brain's tablet (and Banno).
- Oh, Crap!: Heart comes in to save Drive and meltdown-in-process 041 from Cook's attack, now fully aware of his most beloved subordinate's callous treatment of her kin, and he is NOT happy.
- Spontaneous Roidmude Combustion: The fate of the Roidmudes affected by the Honfleur Sunset.
- Status Quo Is God: Despite being promoted into a major task force, the SCU has to stay at the Driving School because of the Drive Pit.
- We ARE Struggling Together: If the conversation between 006 and 008 is any indication, if not for Heart the Roidmudes would be equally likely to fight each other as they would work together.
