• Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Shitashimo begs for Haruka to not hurt him.
• Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Averted for Nozomi when Shitashimo beats her up with a pipe and with his bare fists.
• Blood Knight: According to himself, Shitashimo only feels alive when he is beating something to death.
• Card-Carrying Villain: Unlike the previous antagonists, Shitashimo kills people simply because he wants to, and enjoys it.
• Dirty Coward: Shitashimo is this at his core, begging for his life when in danger.
• Evil Laugh: Shitashimo does this when beating Nozomi.
• Expy: Shitashimo is off Takeshi Asakura. Both are serial killers with a thrill for fighting and violence and a taste for pipes, but unlike his predecessor, Shitashimo is nothing more than a Dirty Coward.
• Feathered Fiend: Hajime Koyama's true form, much like the other Shrike Amazon.
• Healing Factor: Koyama's evolved form had a bulge of nutrients on his back that he could use to heal his wounds.
• Mundanger: Shitashimo is the first human antagonist Haruka and the agents have to face.
• Fantastic Racism: Shitashimo despises Mamoru for being an Amazon, calling him a monster.
• Knight of Cerebus: Not only is Shitashimo the cruelest antagonist of the series behind Takaaki Tenjo, but his presence marks the first time Haruka decides to kill a human.
• Manipulative Bastard: Koyama saved himself from being killed by Haruka by shifting back to his human form.
• Pipe Pain: Shitashimo's weapon of choice when not using his own fists.
• Psychopathic Manchild: Shitashimo views his victims as being nothing more than objects for him to "exercise", laughing like a child playing with his toys when beating people to death.
• The Sociopath: Shitashimo. Comes with being a Serial Killer.
• Sadist: Shitashimo, very much so. Not only does he torture his victims, but he also forces them to watch.
• Serial Killer: Shitashimo targets women and dumps their bodies in his junkyard.
• Would Hit a Girl: Shitashimo savagely beats Nozomi with his bare hands in front of Mamoru.
