Realizing that it's Father's Day, Johnny, his sisters, and Lila attempt to come with the perfect gift for Hugh however, it ends up with disastrous results.

- Accent Upon The Wrong Syllable: While trying to make a special Father’s Day breakfast, Johnny’s mom mispronounces the word “spatula” as if she’s never seen or even heard of one before.
- Convenience Store Gift Shopping: The whole family has forgotten it’s Father’s Day, so they look around the girls’ lab in the hopes of finding something he might like.
- Food Eats You: The meatloaf monster the group created with their failed efforts to make breakfast chases Johnny’s dad around the room and tries to eat him.
- It Came from the Fridge: Johnny, the twins, and Lila are such bad cooks that their attempts to make meatloaf actually create a sentient monster.
- Killer Robot: The robot version of Johnny’s dad becomes enraged, thinking that Hugh is actually a copy of it, and tries to eliminate him.
- Preferable Impersonator: It seems that Lila prefers the robot clone over her actual husband.
- Robot Me: His family decides to give Hugh a robot version of himself that Susan and Mary had made so that it can do all the chores around the house and he can spend more time with his family.
- Trauma Conga Line: Every gift the family gives to Hugh ends up severely injuring him in some way, eventually landing him in the hospital in a full body cast by the end of the episode.
