Following the revelation that Michael is alive, Rafael explains that Rose offered to trade his whereabouts for Luisa's location, and that she claims that she had faked Michael's death and given him amnesia through electroshock therapy. Michael supposedly thinks his name is Jason, and woke up on a farm in Montana with no memories. The family reacts with appropriate shock, and Jane is given the task of reintroducing Michael to familiar things and places in an effort to jog his memory, to no success.
Meanwhile, JR shot Milos, who is back at the Marbella, but he gets away as they're arguing. JR walks away from Petra, to the latter's dismay. Milos shows up again a few days later, his gunshot wound now infected, and offers to trade his hotel shares for antibiotics. Petra calls the cops on him.
Rafael has delayed the move to his and Jane's new place out of respect for the situation, but Jane later expresses her desire to move in with him as soon as possible. Luisa offers to get close to Rose to find out more about her plans for Michael.
