Jane the Mrs.?

"So it is guilt, but it comes from a different place."
Xiomara

Alba deals with feelings for Jorge, who is temporarily living with her following their quick wedding. Jane tries to reintroduce Michael/Jason back to his life, but realizes that he might not enjoy her company. After learning that they're still married, Jane questions if they should get a divorce. Rogelio struggles on the first day of shooting The Passions of Steve and Brenda. Rafael and Luisa go to talk to Rose about the amnesia.

Tropes:

  • Bland-Name Product: Subverted. River's cookie line is called Ms. Fields; the subtitles then clarify that a lawsuit by Mrs. Fields is pending.
  • Break Them by Talking: Rose gets under Rafael's skin in about five seconds by saying that he wants to find out more about Michael's amnesia to see if Jane would return to him.
  • Fire and Brimstone Hell: Used as hellish imagery a couple of times, fitting with the Catholic undercurrent of the episode. When Jane discusses getting divorced as a Catholic, she is imagined as falling down into one of these. When Rose later says "no way in hell", imaginary flames come up around her.
  • I Have This Friend: Jane posits the Michael and Rafael situation to Mateo as a friend of hers getting another puppy after her first puppy got lost, but then the first puppy was found.
  • Moment Killer: Jane and Rafael are about to have sex on the couch, but Jason interrupts him.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Rose refers to what she did to Michael as this — because she took him out of the equation, Rafael ended up with Jane.
