On Trashmas, Honey and Chief find out that Jill is gone and that a stranger is trying to get into the house. Chico gets a taste of what hunger feels like. Elsa falls in love with a robot dog.

- Catfishing: At the end, Jill reveals that she left the house to go on a date, who turned out to be a teenager who catfished her on the internet.
- Christmas Episode: Or rather, Day-After-Christmas Episode. Trashmas is what the pets call the day after Christmas, where they get to turn over the garbage left over from the big day.
- "Home Alone" Antics: Honey and Chief think someone is trying to break in, so they defend the home with booby traps. The "intruder' turns out to be a dog walker Jill hired to walk Honey and Chief while she spent Christmas at her mother's.
- Hulking Out: Chico hulks out when he gets too hungry and goes on a rampage. It may have to do with him being a lab animal experimented on with gamma radiation.
- Interspecies Romance: Elsa falls in love with a robodog toy, but when its batteries run out, she thinks he died. When she makes it to Shel and Darla's egg clutch and the eggs hatch, however, Elsa then believes robo has been reincarnated as one of the baby tortoises and snuggles with it. Naturally, Darla is weirded out by a dog flirting with her literal newborn daughter.
- Mama Bear: Darla at the end expresses shock at Elsa flirting with her young child.
