- Didn't Think This Through: Pix is quite pleased with himself for making Twinkle’s wish come true, but then Fran reminds him that Santa’s sleigh is still in Higglytown and he can’t deliver gifts to the rest of the kids of the world without it.
- Exposition Cut: After Twinkle flies off with Blitzen, the rest of the kids come out and ask Pix where she went. The scene then cuts to Twinkle arriving at the North Pole. When it cuts back, Pix has finished telling the kids what happened.
- Finishing Each Other's Sentences:Wayne: You’re telling us she’s at the North Pole...Eubie: ...helping Santa Claus...Kip: ...get ready for Christmas?
- Hope Spot: Upset that being a Christmas elf means she won’t get to see her family again, Santa offers to take Twinkle home in his sleigh. Everyone’s very excited until they realize the sleigh is still in Higglytown.

- Stating the Simple Solution: When faced with the fact that he accidentally put Christmas in danger, Pix asks the kids what he should do. Eubie then replies, “Uhhh…take back Santa’s sleigh?” This is clearly easier said than done, because right after that Pix asks if they know where he can find some flying reindeer.
