The school prepares for its annual Cultural Festival as characters begin to sort out their various conflicts and feelings, but not necessarily in a positive fashion.
Disunion in October contains the following examples:
- Bittersweet Ending: Despite being a Breather Episode, it ends with Sanae believing Kouhei had chosen Moyori over her and Shiro realizing Masaki had chosen Yuki.
- Brain Bleach: In-Universe after Masaki enters the maid cafe and is greeted by Mayoi, Mashiro, Mami, Manaka, and Kasumi. He immediately tries to flee and delete the image from his brain.
- Breather Episode: Full of far more lighthearted moments and comedy than the tense August and emotional September episodes.
- Comically Missing the Point: This exchange.Sakura: Come to our shop. We're running a Russian Roulette Crepe Cafe!Kouhei: Isn't that illegal?Sakura: Not at all! We pride ourselves on our clean accounting!
- Foreshadowing: Mikami's vision of a streak of red on white is literally Sanae's blood spilling out onto snow when she's injured and crippled in November.
- Meido: The maid cafe.
- Shout-Out: To Tony the Tiger.
- Wham Line: For Sakura.Sakura: So you'll always just see me as "Cute little Sakura from next door," right?Kouhei: Yes.
