Toothy decides to take a ride on his bike, but then things literally go downhill as he's unable to stop it. Meanwhile, Lumpy gets ready to do a death-defying trick on his motorcycle.
"Brake The Cycle" contain examples of:
- A Day In The Lime Light: Toothy's first real starring role since "Keepin' It Reel".
- Ass Shove: Toothy's backside is impaled on his seat stick.
- The Cameo: Truffles can be seen behind a tree near Lumpy.
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- As Toothy tears up from the scratches on his face, he realizes that the pedals of his now destroyed bike are embedded in his intestines, and the chassis of his bike is hanging off the edge of the cliff, by his intestines. With these elements, the chassis begins falling down, and the pedals make Toothy's intestines spiral out of his body. Over the fear of losing his intestines, Toothy grabs hold of the pedals and struggles to pedal them back into his body. At that moment, the small bird from earlier flies onto Toothy's intestines, and steals another bolt on a piece of bike wrapped by his intestines, making his intestines split, and make the chassis fall down the cliff. He is then crushed by Lumpy's (who is already dead!) motorcycle.
- Mime gets his head sliced like an apple by Toothy's bike wheel.
- Downer Ending: Despite his efforts to keep himself alive, Toothy dies.
- Karma Houdini: The bird that started the entire thing.
- Man on Fire: Lumpy ends up on fire thanks to the friction from Toothy's bike and a gas spill. He eventually burns to the bone.
- New Job as the Plot Demands: Lumpy is a stuntman.
- Only a Flesh Wound: Toothy managed to pedal in his intestines despite being severely injured.
- Pun-Based Title: To the saying: "Break the cycle".
- Ramp Jump: Lumpy was getting ready for a cliff jump with a ramp, but Toothy unintentionally beats him to it.
