"Boo Do You Think You Are?" is the sixteenth episode of the first (internet) season of Happy Tree Friends.
The three friends Giggles, Sniffles, and (the hesitant) Flaky are trying out the haunted house ride. The first attraction of the ride, an animatronic zombie hand, pops out and surprises Sniffles. The anteater then chuckles as he points out that it is just a fake hand. However, the hand grabs the top of his head and proceeds to rip part of it off. Sniffles's death leaves Giggles scared stiff and Flaky more worried. Their cart is now approaching a huge swinging axe, prompting Flaky to try to snap Giggles out of it, but her friend does not budge, resulting in the axe cutting the chipmunk in half vertically. Flaky screams in horror and backs into the corner until she looks up to see a huge suspended cauldron pouring the cart full of lava or molten copper. Flaky promptly jumps off the cart, with everything below her waist burnt to the bone. She thinks it's all over when suddenly the cart tips towards her, spilling out the liquid and reducing most of her body to a skeleton, with only the upper half of her head still intact. After her bottom jaw falls off, a cheap paper ghost drops down and lets out a wail.
"Boo Do You Think You Are?" contains the following:
- Amusement Park of Doom: Just what kind of haunted house ride purposefully kills its patrons?
- Artistic License – Biology:
- The way Giggles's death plays out is just wrong. For one example, her optic nerves remain uncut despite being sliced from the side.
- Flaky should not have been able to move her legs after they're burned off by the lava/molten copper. Rule of Funny, though.
- By the Lights of Their Eyes: The three friends' eyes are the only things visible when the ride plunges into darkness briefly.
- Continuity Nod: The amusement park features the same carnival game booths and the Ferris wheel (complete with the same Faceless Masses) as the ones seen in "Pitchin' Impossible".
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Part of Sniffles's head is ripped off by an animatronic zombie hand.
- Giggles is sliced in half by a huge axe.
- Flaky is reduced to mere skeleton (except for the upper half of her head) by lava/molten copper.
- Downer Ending: Nobody comes out unscathed from the haunted house ride.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: Despite being labeled as a Halloween Episode, the episode's opening is still the usual HTF intro instead of a "spooky" version.
- "Everybody Dies" Ending: All three characters are killed by the haunted house ride's attractions.
- Half the Man He Used to Be: Giggles gets vertically cut in half by a swinging axe.
- Halloween Episode: Claimed as this according to its official description, even though it was first released in June.
- Heroic BSoD: Giggles is scared stiff after Sniffles is killed. She is still not out of it by the time she is sliced in half.
- Oh, Crap!: Flaky freaks out when the cart is approaching the swinging axe.
- Properly Paranoid: Flaky has the right to be scared of the ride she ends up in.
- Pun-Based Title: "Who do you think you are?"
- Stripped to the Bone: Flaky dies from this after a cauldron full of molten copper or lava is poured on her.
- Tempting Fate: After his initial shock, Sniffles just chuckles at the animatronic zombie hand near him. Considering this is Happy Tree Friends...
- They Killed Kenny Again: Flaky, Sniffles, and Giggles die.
