However, this is the only time ZAFT used the Gungnir and it could have been useful in later episodes since the the EA continued to use Strike Daggers 'til the end of the war. Justified Trope, as additional materials state that the Earth Alliance installed anti-EMP measures in the Strike Dagger following the battle.
• War Crime Subverts Heroism: With how corrupt the Earth Alliance has been revealed, ZAFT seems like the side we're expected to root for in this battle. That's subverted when they (except Yzak), massacre disabled and even surrendering enemies showing ZAFT's vengefulness has made them just as bad.
