A knight struggling to be loved.

Kalita is confronted by Shun Gonfano at Yoko Orphanage. As Kalita talks with the sumiguza, Shun makes a proposal to her regarding the upcoming match.

  • Anger Born of Worry: Kalita scolds Fidah for taking candy from a stranger. Considering that Shun is a sumiguza and someone who antagonizes her team by sabotaging their reputation, Kalita's worries are justified.
  • Badass Boast: Kalita refers to Shun as the manager of the former Tendonchi Champions since she's sure that she will defeat them once she gets to fight them. Shun actually agrees that Kalita is strong enough to fight and defeat Skully and Bolouma at this point.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Kalita gets in between Fidah and Shun, scolding Fidah for talking to a stranger.
  • Flipping the Bird: Kalita flips off Shun when the latter asks her to lose.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: Kalita believes that she doesn't deserve to be loved despite taking care of the kids at the orphanage and being a Cool Big Sis to them.
  • Knight in Shining Armor: Kalita is shown dressed as a knight when hugging Fidah. It shows how her actions are focused on protecting the kids who live at Yoko Orphanage. However, she is also a...
  • Knight in Sour Armor: Despite her noble intentions and the love of the kids at the orphanage, Kalita believes that she is undeserving of love.
  • Non-Action Big Bad: Subverted with Shun's fight with Kalita. The sumiguza doesn't hesitate to fight back when Kalita attacks him. However, he defuses the fight before it turns violent and tries to convince Kalita with facts, bribes, and warnings.
  • Saving the Orphanage: This was Kalita's motivation to becoming a Combagal recently. The orphanage will close down if she doesn't pay the debts. Shun actually tries to invoke this by bribing Kalita to lose the match, offering enough Moni to pay off the debts and even pay off a lawyer who could defend her at court for her crimes as a biker.
  • Villain Has a Point: Shun points out that, even if Kalita wins the match, she'll still be arrested for her crimes as a member of the Roda Kira Gang once she turns 18 in a matter of time, meaning that her career as a Combagal in Botaun will be a short one.
  • Would Hit a Girl: Shun actually fights Kalita in this chapter. He actually blocks her attacks and even throws her. Justified as Kalita hit him first and Shun needed to defend himself. He actually defuses the situation before the fight turns violent.
