Nyarai working as a hostess.

While Muko and Cookie deal with Kalita, their partner, Nyarai, is currently working as a hostess. However, there's more to this cheetah behind that smile on her face.

  • Call-Back: Nyarai was stated to work as a hostess by Cookie back in Chapter 2. This chapter makes it a plot point.
  • Cheshire Cat Grin: Nyarai gives a huge grin after Shun gives her permission to deal with her perverted hippo customer as she sees fit.
  • A Day in the Limelight: As this is the final chapter of Part 1 and the other three protagonists appeared in the other five chapters, Nyarai is the main focus of this chapter to make up for it.
  • Does Not Like Men: After getting rid of the perverted hippo customer, Nyarai complains about men being pigs. Shun then points out that not all men are like that.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Some Cyclone Crushers appear in this chapter outside of their Combagal outfits.
  • Fantastic Racism: Nyarai suffers from discrimination as a result of being born a Wild.
  • Getting the Boot: The perverted hippo customer not only gets his face kicked in by Nyarai in a single blow...she actually kicked him out of Club Nighthawk.
  • The Ghost: Nyarai mentions Freydar for the first time in the comic. She would be mentioned repeatedly in Part 2 before showing up in Part 3.
  • Kick Chick: When given the chance of taking out the customer who's harassing her, Nyarai's first choice is a swift kick to the face.
  • Megaton Punch: Nyarai's kick manages to deform a hippo's face despite the weight difference and even sends him flying out of the nightclub.
  • Nice Girl: Jowdie is a total sweetheart to her client as she voices her faith in Nyarai, or any of her fellow Cyclone Crushers, when fending off the unwanted advances of unruly customers.
  • Overly-Long Tongue: Copymeleon flicks her tongue when she's introduced. Justified since she's a chameleon.
  • The Reveal: Nyarai, the fourth protagonist of the story and Muko's future partner, is already working for Shun Gonfano. For added tension, her debut will make her famous but will require something that may require Cookie's unwanted assistance.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: Nyarai and the Cyclone Crushers work as hostesses that give a nice time to their clients. However, as pointed out by Jowdie, they're still Combagals, so they don't need bouncers to get rid of clients who break the rules and get fresh with them.
  • Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Besides some customers, nobody minds the hippo antagonizing Nyarai, especially the Cyclone Crushers because they know she can take care of herself.
  • Wham Episode: Some shocking truths are revealed about Nyarai in this chapter. For one thing, we are introduced to Shun Gonfano, who is the manager of an elite team of Combagals. He's also Nyarai's manager despite her working for Cookie and being Muko's future tag partner. Furthermore, they have plans for Nyarai's debut match at Cookie's expense.
  • Very Punchable Man: Nyarai's hippo client is rude, arrogant, racist, and perverted. His screen time is dedicated to give Nyarai a justified excuse to kick his face off.
  • Yakuza: Shun Gonfano is referred as a sumiguza, but his lack of fear to the corrupt hippo, his casual allowance of violence for his Combagals to solve problems, and his cold demeanor upon being insulted suggests that a sumiguza is the equivalent to a yakuza in the comic.
