Rachel: Manhattan does not have enough stores. - Riddle for the Ages: Joey meeting Sarah, the Duchess of York, and getting her to be on camera. When Chandler asks how this happened, Joey is about to explain when Ross enters to yell at Monica for suggesting Emily postpone the wedding.
- This Is Gonna Suck:
- As Monica frets about every minute detail of getting from the apartment building to the airport, Chandler expresses discomfort over being confined in an airplane with her for six hours.
- When Ross asks if it was her idea to postpone the wedding, Monica can only say a nervous, "Um..." Chandler and Joey also immediately leave the room before it gets really bad.
- Vacation Episode: Much of the episode features Joey and Chandler being tourists in London.
- Your Television Hates You: As Joey really starts getting homesick, he turns on the TV to take his mind off it and sees Cheers is on. He's initially happy, but the theme song lyrics (specifically "Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came") just make him feel even more homesick.
