After learning that Tiger Woods is half-Thai, Louis and Jessica are inspired to make Eddie and Evan the next great Asian golf prodigies.
- Apathetic Teacher: Louis mainly wants his kids to have a good time, and is easily distracted by things like buying a new hat, yet seems to be the better teacher compared to Jessica.
- The Bet: Louis and Jessica end up arguing over which of their teaching styles are better, with the loser being the "Kultida" compared to Tiger's less well-known parent Earl. Unfortunately, even when they switch which child they're overseeing, Jessica gets worse results...though "Kultida" convinces her that her contributions, while better off in the background, are still meaningful.
- Mistaken for Special Guest: In the end, Jessica comes across Tiger's mom Kultida Woods in a golf club, who helps convince Jessica that her strict guidance was correct all along...only for the pre-Tag scene to reveal that it's just a random woman who keeps getting mistaken for Kultida but has gotten tired of correcting people. Coincidentally, the real Earl Woods is sitting a few tables over.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Emery spends the episode trying to get other people to acknowledge Tiger's Asian heritage, and in The Tag, finally impresses the editor of the school newsletter enough to let him make an announcement over the school's PA system...but nobody hears it, because the two students who were arguing over having the same backpack earlier in the episode are about to have a dramatic fistfight in the yard.
- Stern Teacher: Jessica, as is to be expected, wants perfection from her children and has them repeat the same movements until their muscles hurt, which unfortunately hinders their performance when compared to Louis.
