Refusing to pay extra for furniture delivery, Jessica suggests to Honey that they take a trip to Georgia and pick up a new chair directly from a warehouse, but an accompanying Evan and Emery warn Honey that Jessica gets severe road rage when her trip plans go awry. While his wife and the youngest boys are away, Louis decides to have a "guy's weekend" with Eddie, and is disheartened when Eddie uses the opportunity to invite his friends over and drink beer for the first time instead of spending time bonding with his father.
- Plot Allergy: After having a single sip of beer, Eddie's face is immediately flushed. When he panics and seeks help from Louis, it turns out he inherited the "Asian Flush" from him; his body lacks the enzyme to properly process alcohol, leading to redness, sweating, and itchiness.
- Road Trip Plot: The A-Plot involves a road trip to Georgia and back because Jessica calculated that the cost of gas to pick up a new chair for Honey would cost less than their furniture store charges for delivery.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: The climax of the Road Trip Plot appears to be Jessica throwing away some license plates in order to get out of paying a ticket, and the group happily continuing on to Georgia for the chair and the World's Biggest Peanut. In The Tag, they instead end up arriving home completely empty-handed, as a different police officer charged Jessica for driving without her license plates and set her over the edge.
- Souvenir Land: Evan and Emery partly tag along for the trip to Georgia to warn Honey about how easily Jessica gets agitated on the road, but mainly because they've always wanted to visit the World's Biggest Peanut but every opportunity they had in the past was thwarted by Jessica's road rage getting the best of her.
