Even after Daphne's premonition of Niles getting hurt comes true, he says he needs scientific proof before he will believe in her abilities, so they hire a psychic evaluator to put her skills to the test.
Tropes:
- Broken Pedestal: Frasier's image of Dr. Tewksbury is permanently affected after seeing him wearing Roz's robe. Martin relates to him by sharing a story of running into his old army commanding officer working at a fast food restaurant. He tried to push past it, but ultimately just stopped going to the fast food place to avoid the guy.
- Massive Numbered Siblings: Daphne mentions that Grammy Moon told her that only Moon women get psychic powers, the implication being she was trying to make Daphne feel better about being the only girl in a house full of boys. After hearing this, Niles decides he doesn't want to hear the evaluator's results.
- Not What It Looks Like: To try and help Frasier work through his discomfort, Tewksbury puts Roz's robe on and starts asking Frasier what "deep feelings" it brings up in him. Naturally, this is when one of Tewksbury's other students walks in and is very confused.
- Sexy Shirt Switch: Frasier accidentally sees Dr. Tewksbury wearing Roz's robe after sleeping with her. He can't get the image of it out of his mind and fears it may permanently alter his relationship with his mentor.
