Dueling Works: Two spares of two different long-running legacies spearhead this and the Goth MMBC. This makes sense, as the creators of the two works are close friends and confidantes. - Humanoid Alien: Auribus I'lox and Grayson Stevens. Coincidentally, they both died together.
- If I Can't Have You…: Cruella in a nutshell.
- Sympathetic Murderer: Gia, in spades. Hell, to the point where she, Adele and Franciska are still friends by the end of it all; to date, no other murderer can boast this.
- The Runner-Up Takes It All: Similarly to the Moon-2 example, Everly would have won if she had not been rolled to come in third place, and is implied to be getting closer to Adele's brother Kyle in the endgame.
- What Could Have Been: Originally, Mirabelle was slated to be the murderer, but it was rerolled at the last second due to fear of Goth conflicts. There was also a plot point planned once for the murderer to change halfway through the project; this was also dropped for fairness' sake.
