Cade is called in to investigate the sudden deaths of healthy teens in Normal, IL. It appears all the kids died in the throes of passion.
Tropes:
- Destroy the Evidence: The devices in various teenagers' heads are evaporated, thus leaving no proof of aliens.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Mr Bennet, the Gua scientist implanting the devices, is killed by Sherrif Holden, also a Gua scientist, because the devices aren't meant for humans: they're being tested for use on Gua agents, to prevent them from having sex except for officially sanctioned purposes.
- In Love with the Mark: A parental version. Mr Bennet, the Gua scientist implanting the devices, develops real protective feelings towards his human daughter Lisa. He openly hates her boyfriend Robbie, finally implanting a device in him to keep them from having sex and endangering her life.
- Out with a Bang: The Gua are testing a device implanted in the brain that kills the patient if they try to have sex. They test it out on horny teenagers, resulting in a kid dying at a pool party and Foster being summoned by Robbie.
- Would Hurt a Child: The Gua implant the devices in teenagers' heads, perfectly okay with them dying to achieve their ends.
