  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Ralph is this for the members of the model train club for his sloppy attention to detail. He's terrified that they'll think even worse of him if they find out he also likes racing RC cars.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Oscar caused the biggest model train derailment in the school's history to drive up business for his parents' store and make sure that they wouldn't move to the Pacific Northwest. Though he succeeded in preventing his family from moving as his father renewed the lease on the store, it put a definitive end to Oscar's model train career.
  • Low Clearance: Oscar gets caught because he was too busy smugly waving at Fillmore to notice that the train engine he was on was approaching a tunnel.

  • Traintop Battle: Parodied. Oscar attempts to escape Fillmore and Ingrid by jumping on a small train ride going through the mall, and Fillmore follows him on it to catch him.
