Lois and her father attend the funeral of Lois' childhood nanny. Meanwhile, Peter and the rest of the family turn Pewterschmidt mansion into a hotel.

- Actor Allusion: In a flashback to her childhood, an upset Lois is telling her nanny about how someone at school said she was "MADtv (1995) funny, not SNL funny". Lois is voiced by Alex Borstein, while her nanny is Nicole Sullivan, who were both cast members on MAD TV.
- Here We Go Again!: When Lois and Carter make amends at the end of the episode, Carter suddenly gets a notification on his phone telling him that the family's old gardener has died. He mentions to Lois that he has another dark truth to share with her, after which he'll have to get her another pond.
