Fargo just brings this out in people. Even Wesley.

Carter: Attention! Unruly... zombies.

Blind rage is infecting everyone at Global Dynamics with potentially catastrophic results - especially for Fargo.

Tropes

  • Actor Allusion: Fargo tells a General to frak off, a reference to James Callis' previous series, Battlestar Galactica (2003).
  • All Just a Prank:
    • After turning on the bridge device, Henry and Dr Grant find that every object they touch immediately disintegrates and think it's because of their influence on the timeline. Until Grace comes in and shows them a tray of vanished items which have appeared on a tray in a cupboard. Turns out prank wars are just something they do, and it's revenge for Henry magnetising all her pans.
Dr Grant: [As Henry rants about Grace's prank] Henry, I believe you're getting a little crush on your wife.
    • The iMine that Fargo is attacked with as the rage symptoms begin to emerge is nonlethal and Dr Parrish readily admits to planting it, claiming to be giving Fargo the demonstration he asked for.
  • Bad Boss: Alt!Fargo was apparently a terrible boss, to the extent that a horde of rage zombies are successfully lured to where they can be cured when Carter uses him as bait.
Fargo: Wow, Other Me was kind of a jerk!
Jo: You didn't get that from the poster?
  • Call-Forward: Dr. Grant proposes repurposing the Einstein-Grabt bridge for space travel.
  • Eating the Eye Candy: Dr Grant has quite the eye for the ladies, implying to both Carter and Henry that the timeline change has left them with gorgeous partners and they should just enjoy their good luck (Tess and Grace, respectively).
Dr Grant: [On Grace] If I was married to a woman like that, who knows how to make an electron gun...
  • Flipping the Bird: Implied when Carter tries to get a helpful answer out of an affected Zane about the device, although Zane's hand is just out of shot.
Zane: Sure, it has three effects. Number one! [Gestures] Number two! [Gestures] Number three...
  • Hate Plague: Pretty much everyone is affected by a device from Dr. Parrish that makes them homicidally angry, especially towards Fargo.
  • Real Name as an Alias: Dr Trevor Grant is now using the name Dr Charles Grant. Presumably, he's supposed to be his own relative in case someone notices a resemblance.
  • Red Herring: Dr Anson spills something near Fargo and mops it with his sleeve shortly before the rage starts. Turns out that was raspberry wine cooler.
  • Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Not remembering the new timeline causes troubles for everyone. Fargo has no idea how to do his job, and Carter ends his relationship with Tess again.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Timey-Wimey Ball: Dr Grant is disheartened that his trip to the future has wiped out all his accomplishments from the other timeline, including a Nobel prize. He wants to repurpose the bridge device for something because it's all he has left.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Alt!Fargo's despotic leadership has this effect.
