Nate ends up being shocked and exasperated when he realises Cassie is as cruel and callous as him during their argument. Which can also be a Laser-Guided Karma for him at this point.
Cal attempts to confront Fez for beating up his son Nate, but it badly ends with him being humiliated by him and Ashtray in their apartment. It then results in him getting drunk in a bar reminiscing about his times with his ex Derek and chewing out and leaving his family.
Finally, despite proving herself to be equally cunning, vengeful and ruthless as Nate, Cassie completely falls apart in this episode as she gets completely drunk out of desperation to get Nate to herself and her guilt of leaving Maddy behind for it. The night ends with her projectile vomiting in front of Maddy, Nate and others and crying and apologising to the former.
Brown Note: Maddy saying Nate told her he wanted to have her babies causes Cassie to throw up.
Can't Hold Her Liquor: Cassie gets too drunk and wasted at Maddy's birthday party at the thought of both Nate trying to get back together with Maddy and trying to hide their relationship from her. All of which results in her dancing to Sinead O'Connor's "Drink Before the War" and eventually, throwing up at the hot tub while Nate and Maddy were having an argument in front of her friends.
