- Dead All Along: The Phares that has been seen since Chapter 7 has been dead from the start, giving up his body to the Progenitor since Chapter 13.
- 11th-Hour Superpower: Euden, taking a lesson from Jinlorda's Apotheosis, turns into Volk's Agito form.
- Enemy Mine: Euden admits that while he doesn't consider Nedrick trustworthy, he acknowledges Elysium as being the bigger threat prompting him to work with Nedrick against the Holywyrm.
- Hidden Villain: Even with everything going on, nobody was aware of Harle sneaking a piece of the Sacred Shard, and that he's also involved in the Satan revival plot.
- Internal Reveal: Chelle and Gatov finally understand that Audric is the late King Aurelius, though they're unaware that he's from another timeline.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Part 2 shows that killing Elysium allows Phares to be able to control even the Holywyrm with black mana, turning him into Void Elysium.
- "Not So Different" Remark: Seeing Nedrick Taking the Bullet to protect Jinlorda has Phares tell him how much alike he and Euden actually are all while Nedrick denies being anything like Euden.
- Power at a Price: While Zethia has the power of Bahamut, her price is she gives up her sight while shapeshifted.
- The Reveal: Part 2 reveals the voice that Zethia heard was Ilia.
- Wham Line:
- Phares calling Audric "Aurelius" despite him having cut his causality off reveals that Phares is the Progenitor.
- Another one shows that the Progenitor is working towards Satan's revival.
- Wham Shot: Part 1 ends with the appearance of Zethia saying NOT to let Nedrick summon Bahamut.
