Leslie Willis a.k.a. Livewire, after being refused a gossip column on the Daily Planetoid, goes on a mean pranks rampage to get embarassing videos of students for her blog. The girls (save Diana) at first laugh at them like everybody else, until Livewire reveals herself and the Super Hero Girls fall victim too of the humiliating viral videos.
Tropes:
- Agony Beam: Livewire unleashes her electricity on Wonder Woman in a form of Electric Torture. This happens to be last straw for the crowd, who's not laughing any more when they realize the superheroin is suffering agonizing pain.
- Break the Cutie:
- Karen just hides in a closet to cry rather than watch the video of her Involuntary Dance. Later, she hides in a trash can.
- Babs is reduced to tears when Livewire displays her humiliation in front of her "fans".
- Cat Up a Tree: Wonder Woman saving a little girl's cat from a tree was on the Daily Planetoid's latest front page, which Leslie disparages.
- Chekhov's Gag: The above cat-saving incident gets referenced at the end, with the Shockateers lured to a new video channel featuring the Super Hero Girls with the cats they've saved.
- Everyone Has Standards: Diana becomes concerned of the World of Man's moral integrity after discovering Leslie Willis' (later Livewire's) videos. Convinced that the people are better than this, she faces her off in front of her fans, resulting in Livewire getting the upper hand. However, as it becomes clear that this isn't a video and more of an execution, everyone stops laughing and even gasps in shock. They may find videos funny, but not when someone is actually getting killed.
- The Internet Is for Cats: After the Super Hero Girls' victory over Livewire, all of her Shockateers are lured to a new video channel: one with the girls being cute with cats they rescue.
- Involuntary Dance: Livewire takes control of Bumblebee's costume and forces her to dance in the middle of the street, naturally making it another viral video (#BEES DONT DANCE).
- Joke of the Butt: Livewire humiliates Green Lantern with a photograph where she's lying on the ground in defeat with her butt in the air, joking that her bottom is the source of greenhouse gases.
- Literal Ass-Kicking: Livewire literally kicking Green Lantern's butt, and also making it chibified
on her video site. - Mythology Gag: A starfish gets stuck on Garth's face, which Livewire hashtags as "#RISEOFSTARRO".
- No-Sell: Supergirl just tanks the first lightning bolt Livewire throws her. But not so much after Livewire supercharges herself; the next bolt sends Supergirl flying into a garbage truck.
- Not-So-Innocent Whistle: When the girls are chortling, tempted to laugh at the latest pratfall inflicted on Lois by Leslie, Diana glares at them and they all suddenly pretend being innocent by whistling.
- Projectile Kiss: Livewire makes the blowing-a-kiss gesture to send an electric shock into Wonder Woman's sword, disarming her.
- Scooby Stack: The Super Hero Girls stack up from the opening of an alley, watching warily at the crowd in Glen Morgen Square as they hesitate going against Livewire again, afraid of further humiliations.
- "Staying Alive" Dance Pose: Part of the dancing moves imposed on Bumblebee during her Involuntary Dance.
- Taking the Bullet: Supergirl stops a huge lightning bolt aimed at finishing Wonder Woman by interposing her body.
- Villain Song: Livewire's "A Million Volts". It's all about how much she loves tormenting people.
