Marie's extensive collection of Westerns isn't widely known about.
Written & storyboarded by Lamar Abrams & Charmaine Verhagen

Fed up with Mackenzie's rules on how to be a horse, Marie ditches the Horse Girls and starts hanging out with a cow-obsessed boy.

Tropes:

  • Can't You Read the Sign?: Todd is scared by Marie's lasso because he mistook it for a snake. When the Cow-Boy doesn't see what the big deal is, Marie points out that there is a sign warning others that Todd can't tell a rope from a snake.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The first episode to focus on Marie of the Horse Girls.
  • Dine and Dash: Marie and the Cow-Boy leave the Candy Bar without paying for all the milk they drank.
  • Literal Metaphor: Craig tells Marie that she's headed down a dangerous path. Marie says she doesn't care because she's tired of Mackenzie's rules, but Craig meant that they were “literally” on a dangerous path, as the train they're on is headed for a cliff. It’s also Subverted when it turns out the “cliff” is actually just a mere mud puddle.
  • Made of Explodium: Todd's ten-speed bike somehow bursts into flames after crashing. Later, as the Stump Trio and the Horse Girls are chasing the runaway train, Maney and Kelsey get diverted and somehow crash and explode offscreen.
  • Recycled Premise: This episode followed “The Jump Off”, which also had a female character driven away from her all-female quartet by their leader’s toxic obsession with their interests (Brittani with Double Dutch, Mackenzie with playing horse), though in this case the catalyst is Marie encountering a boy who encourages her to ditch the Horse Girls, while Diane had severed ties with the Double Dutch team long ago.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When the milk train was about to go off of the cliff, Cow-Boy bailed out of fear.
  • Train Job: Marie and the Cow-Boy rob a train delivering milk to the Candy Bar.
