Craig finds a mysterious word carved into a tree, which his fellow Creek kids warn brings a curse to those who utter it.
Tropes:
- Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: Throughout the episode, Craig keeps saying "Clonque" without anything bad happening, other than the others freaking out about it. Also, there is no record of anything bad happening because of saying the word. At the very end, however, Craig is hit with a bucket falling out of the sky, suggesting that it was his punishment for saying "Clonque".
- Memetic Mutation: In-Universe, "Clonque" turns out to be from an R&B song from a few years ago that became so popular that it was overplayed and everyone got sick of it, leading to someone carving "Don't Say Clonque" into that tree. Over time, the original meaning of the word was lost, and everyone in the Creek just assumed that it was some kind of cursed word that you weren't allowed to say. Also, the "cleansing ritual" performed whenever the word is said was a dance move from the song's music video.
