During a rainy day at the Creek, the Stump Trio combines their broken board games with missing pieces to create their own new game.

Tropes:

  • Bland-Name Product: Each of the games is a parody of a real board game. Cavity Land is Candy Land, Pay Up is Monopoly, Hangry, Hangry Honey Badgers is Hungry, Hungry Hippos, Battle Barns is Battleship, and Topple Tower is Jenga.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Upon cracking a pun on fighting boredom with board games, Craig asks the audience if they saw the joke. An exasperated J.P. says they did.
  • Calvinball: Since all their board games are missing pieces, the Stump Trio make up their own using the pieces they have left.
  • Cloneopoly: One of the games in the stump is Pay Up. At one point, J.P. draws a "go to debtor's prison" card ("how old is this game?") and ends up with a spoof of the Monopoly mascot, Uncle Pennybags, who’s serving time for embezzlement.
  • Deep-Immersion Gaming: The Stump Trio imagine themselves playing within the world of each game.
  • Hollywood Board Games: The second human-sized board game the Stump Trio lands in is Battle Barns, a Battleship knock-off. Their opponent welcomes them by shooting one of their barn ships with a corn torpedo. Being their turn, the kids now need ammo to fire back — J.P. summons a cute dog Monopoly piece but is reluctant to load it in their cannon, which shows that he's a Gentle Giant. Next, Craig summons Scrabble tiles which, when fired, take the shape of an arrow. This particular ammo choice (not intentional on his part) matches with the fact that he's Black and Nerdy, as well as providing some slapstick comedy. The kids win with this shot, causing them to cheer. When they discover they destroyed their opponent's home, they awkwardly apologize because they are good kids.
Unseen Opponent: Oh, man, your shot burst my battle barn! It was my home!
  • I Let You Win: When Craig can't bring himself to lose Topple Tower because he's never lost, Kelsey confesses that she and J.P. always let him win.
  • Something We Forgot: During the game, J.P. draws a Pay Up card that sends him to debtor's prison. After the game is over, Craig and Kelsey wonder where J.P. is; cut to him behind bars with an Expy of Uncle Pennybags.
  • What Are You in For?: While in debtor's prison, J.P. asks this of the Uncle Pennybags expy, to which he replies "Embezzlement!".
