Written & storyboarded by Drew Green & Charmaine Verhagen

While showing off her own personal anti-bug spray, Wren accidentally releases a stink bomb that coats a large portion of the Creek. Craig and his friends must venture into the stinky landscape to rescue everyone.

Tropes:

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Kelsey contacts Craig to inform him that their gas masks are failing, J.P. is throwing up, and worst of all, Eliza and George are really annoying.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Wren lets out this when Faraday reveals she had tampered with her bug spray, along with a brief What the Hell, Hero?.
  • Complaining About Rescues They Don't Like: Eliza spends the entire rescue whining about how the rescue is going and threatening to pout when Kelsey talks back to her.
  • Confidence Sabotage: An accidental variant. Faraday was worried that Wren's attempt to make a bug spray would get her kicked out of the Alliance of Science, so she added to it. Unfortunately, this results in it being a powerful stink bomb which wrecks Wren's belief in her science and nearly gets her expelled from the Alliance.
  • Foreshadowing: The nervous look on Faraday's face while Carl scolds Wren is a clue to her being the one responsible for the bug spray failing and not Wren.
  • From Bad to Worse: The Alliance of Science's attempt to stop the stench only makes it stronger.
  • Gone Horribly Wrong: Wren's bug spray instead becomes a powerful stink bomb.
  • Here We Go Again!: After the stench is neutralized and everything is back to normal, a fly lands on Craig's sandwich again.
  • It's All My Fault: Wren blames herself for creating the stink bomb. Later, Faraday confesses that she added an ingredient to Wren's bug spray, and thus the bomb was her fault instead.
  • MacGyvering: Wren neutralizes the stink bomb by mixing baking soda with salt and vinegar flavored chips from Kit's supplies.
  • Mushroom Samba: The stink bomb is so powerful it actually induces hallucinations. Cannonball just sees the faces of his parents on top of Craig and Wren, but Eliza gets a Surprisingly Creepy Moment of a hallucinating Mortimor growing a disturbingly human-like mouth and talking to her.
  • My Friends... and Zoidberg: This episode reveals George isn't very popular among the other Tea Timers:
Jane: Are you forming a search party? Because my dearest Eliza- and, I guess, George- are stuck in the stink cloud as well!
  • Slow "NO!": Eliza hallucinates Mortimor refusing to fly her to safety. She sees Mortimor's face slide to the back of his head, then takes off his mask with a cartoon hand and says with a human mouth "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Kit has to mark-up her prices significantly because she needs to save for a new cooler.
  • Taking the Bullet: As Wren's spray is about to explode, Bobby quickly gets in front of Craig to protect him.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Aside from the Complaining About Rescues They Don't Like mentioned above, despite Craig being one of the people to save the creek from the stench, Kit still overcharges him for his snacks in order to get a new cooler.
