This MMBC provides examples of:
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: The Mysterious Bridgeportian Cat - black, white, and teal.
- And Now for Someone Completely Different: The interlude in the middle of Episode 15, where the action moves away from the MMBC house to Jasmyn and Gretta, one of whom is interfering with the project to her own ends.
- Crossover: With the Danganronpa franchise - a little less blatantly than with the Francis-Hart-Baines saga, absorbing the premise as opposed to featuring the characters therein as well.
- Documentary Episode / In-Universe Camera: Much of the project, barring a few scenes shot away from the action, styles and presents itself as a series of YouTube videos strung into one playlist. Once the project is over, the videos are ostensibly purged in-universe.
- Driven to Suicide: Missy Collins at the end of Episode 14. She turns out to have survived in the second half of Episode 15.
- Elective Mute: Evelyn Brennan.
- Fish out of Temporal Water: Sylvia Jones.
- Gone Horribly Right: Cordelia Chicory Veil was made essentially as fodder to be murdered or to murder herself - a closeted trans man competing for a trans lesbian. So naturally, she ended up winning the project innocently by virtue of Farha dying.
- Karaoke Box / Jukebox Musical: The earliest MMBC to integrate this, predating Hart.
- Off with His Head!: Farha, dear god.
- Serious Business: The Jonas Brothers changing a mention of Michael Jackson to Kelly Clarkson. It Makes Sense in Context.Asha: "How old were you two in 2006?!?"

Strangled by the Red String: the author has admitted to Cordelia's brief crush on Evelyn and thus hyper-intense reaction to their death came relatively out of nowhere due to time and plot constraints. - Trans Tribulations: the aforementioned Cordelia. Averted with Missy herself.
