Odd falls in love with Brynja, an Icelandic Pen Pal of Sissi, which proves harmful to the team.

- Act of True Love: Discussed by everyone after listening to Romeo and Juliet. When Odd teasingly asks Ulrich if he would die for Yumi, he accidentally (but firmly) replies with a "Better believe it!" before trying to backtrack and blushes as Yumi approaches them. Odd tries revealing what Ulrich said, only for an embarrassed Ulrich to cut him off.
- Achilles in His Tent: Odd is briefly kicked out of the group for bringing Brynja to the factory, but he makes it back just in time to save Aelita from William.
- Attention Whore: Brynja. At first, she seems to genuinely like Odd, but it's implied that she actually only enjoys the attention he gives to her. This is why Jérémie chooses not to do a Return to the Past, as he realized Brynja doesn't care about the Supercomputer as much as she does in getting attention elsewhere from someone else.
- Continuity Nod: Ulrich brings up Yumi telling him that they should remain Just Friends when she gets jealous of his attraction to Brynja.
- Dude Magnet: Brynja is an attractive blonde-haired girl with large breasts, to the point of leaving every guy around her dumbfounded. Mostly Played for Laughs.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Odd is about to be confronted by his friends about how his relationship with Brynja is affecting the group:Odd: Did I miss an episode?
- Ms. Fanservice: Brynja outshines almost every single female that she puts Yumi, Aelita and even Sissi to shame, thanks to her having the biggest breasts of the girls.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Sissi is pushed out of her lunch spot with Brynja, she goes to sit with Herve only for him to deny her a spot next to him as Brynja "promised to sit with him for dessert". Sissi has a Big "WHAT?!" reaction to this.
- Put on a Bus: Combined with Status Quo Is God. Sissi sends Brynja to her cousin's place under the pretext that she wanted to see the countryside when the truth is that Sissi was jealous of Brynja getting the spotlight at Kadic because of her big breasts.
- Sexy Scandinavian: Brynja, an Icelandic girl with a massive rack. Literally every boy, even Jérémie is flattered and drawn to her. Yumi and even super Nice Girl Aelita don't take kindly to their respective Love Interest being charmed by her beauty and give her a rather cold welcome when introduced.
- Staging an Intervention: What the gang pulls in order to talk to Odd about his relationship with Brynja causing friction in the group.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Can also be combined with Hypocrite. At first, Ulrich and Jérémie mock Odd for being so charmed by Brynja. And then she stops by to see them and Ulrich and Jérémie are instantly under her spell. This is followed by them mocking Odd and saying how Brynja is too good for him and deserves someone better. Aelita and Yumi both call them out on talking badly about their friend. The boys try blowing their concern off, but realize they're right.
- Odd has one when the group insists he break up with Brynja because the relationship is causing problems for them.
