Gertrude Verbanski returns and asks Casey to join her on a mission in South Beach. Jeff and Lester suspect there's more to the Buy More than meets the eye.
This episode provides examples of:
- Badass in Distress: Gertrude is held hostage by the arms dealer she's targeting. He calls Casey with the ransom, having got the number from her phone, leading Casey to think it's Gertrude's way of getting him to talk to her again. He realises the truth when he hears Gertrude in the background shouting that she doesn't need him to rescue her.
- Brain Bleach: Sarah has this look after walking in on Casey and Gertrude having sex.Chuck: Sarah, what's wrong?
Sarah: [Shellshocked] Everything... It's all wrong... - Cliffhanger: After being successfully diverted from their attempt to find out what Team Chuck are up to, Jeff and Lester see past a facade into Castle base itself. They're tranquilised, leaving Team Chuck to figure out what to do with them.
- Crossdressing: Lester's reasons for dressing as a woman in order to follow Awesome on his decoy mission are left unexplored, but he seems to enjoy himself.Lester: Just so you know, I'm keeping these shoes. [Lester loops his arm into Jeff's while Jeff's hand slowly makes its way to Lester's backside] Easy, calm down, Jeffrey.
- Eating the Eye Candy: Gertrude would like Casey to perform his security duties in a tiny pair of swimming trunks.
- Pregnancy Test Plot: Sarah spends the episode quietly acting as if she might be pregnant, which Casey picks up on even if Chuck doesn't. After Chuck is brought up to speed, Sarah takes a test, which comes out negative. Near the end, she admits she was disappointed by the result.
- She Is Not My Girlfriend: Casey insists throughout the episode that Gertrude isn't his girlfriend to increasingly sceptical people. Finally, after suggesting Alex meet Gertrude he admits she is his girlfriend.
- Spotting the Thread: Jeff and Lester finally pick up on all the weird things that have happened with Team Chuck lately, and investigate. Morgan drafts Awesome on a plot to derail them, leading to them "discovering" a private gym Awesome pretends to have set up in the Buy More basement. Problem solved... but then Jeff spots paint on Lester's back where he leant on the wall, realises the whole thing is a setup and punches a hole in the fake wall, revealing Castle base with Team Chuck inside.
