- Broken Bird: Two of the original Charmed sisters are examples of this. Ishani was drowning her "pain in sex and booze" over her guilt for turning against Inara. Ishta went from "The Ethereal Tree Lady" in a robe to "Demon Fight Club Champion" in street clothing in a matter of months, also over her guilt for turning against Inara. Deconstructed in that Maggie and Mel helps the two sisters realise they needed to find a way to forgive themselves.

- Godzilla Threshold: After stopping Inara's revival, the Charmed Ones learn she had already had a measure in place to destroy all magic in the world. The Charmed Ones are forced to revive her themselves to stop it.
- Grand Finale: The final episode of the series.
- Heel–Face Turn: Inara makes one at the last minute to join the other first Charmed Ones in the Heroic Sacrifice.
- More Hero than Thou: The Charmed Ones try to make a Heroic Sacrifice to stop the magic bomb, but the first Charmed Ones do it instead.
- Mythology Gag:
- Much like how Piper ran a bar in the original series, Mel takes over running the Blue Camellia from Roxie.
- Just as in most of the original series's season finales, the series ends with the Halliwell manor's front door closing.
- Wham Shot: In the last scene, the Charmed Ones walk through a magic door and wind up at... the Halliwell manor from the original series.
