Simon hits his head and loses his memory, right when the Count tries to take over Castlevania with an army of zombies. While the N Team's trying to retrain Simon to take on the Count, he runs into Donkey Kong and ends up thinking he's Donkey Kong Junior!
Tropes:
- Agony of the Feet: At one point Simon unwittingly rips out one of Donkey Kong's toenails.
- Easy Amnesia: Simon loses his memory after hitting his head, and gets it back when he's bonked by a coconut later on.
- The Ghost: One of the most perplexing things about the episode is Simon eventually thinking he's Donkey Kong Junior. It's really, really weird for the episode to reference a real game, when the game's star and even the source of the game's title doesn't seem to exist!
- Shout-Out: Kevin namedrops Batman and Robin when he's trying to reeducate Simon. Unsurprisingly this just confuses the amnesiac even more. Although if Kevin knows about the "real" version from back home, it makes an attentive viewer wonder what the deal is with Wombatman.
- Training Montage: During the N Team's attempts to retrain Simon. Maybe a little surprisingly it's an abject failure, and they decide to go save Castlevania without him.
