- Took a Level in Jerkass: Neil can be astonishingly depraved when someone one-ups him. To his credit, as soon as Nikki begins choking, he realizes what he's done and snaps out of it... for about a second until Harrison says they need to use magic to save her, upon which he becomes obstinate again despite Nikki choking in front of him. It's only when he thinks Nikki is actually about to die that he finally accepts magic is real.
